answer = 042 -
2 well place in hint 1 and wrongly place in hint 3
0 well wrongly place in hint 3 and hints 5 as such should be place in first spot - hint 5 clearly show 0 to be the only accepted number, 7 8 is off. note that 738 are not correct as according to hints 4, 6 is not correct too as in hint 1
hint 3 shows that as only a number is correct there 0
hint 2 has the middle number which is not 6, cant be 1 since we are looking for the middle slot = 4
