Dear Dunu009,

Recruiters are always posting jobs on LinkedIn daily requesting interested applicants to submit their CVs. So be on the look out for such opportunities.

In some cases, they would even headhunt you directly if you possess the skill sets they want. So make sure your profile is up-to-date and try to connect with HR peeps and recruiters.

Lets starts with the things that matters most on LinkedIn Profile.

1) Profile Photo - Never leave your profile photo section empty. No recruiter want to poach someone without facial identity.

It is best to upload a photo that makes you look professional. LinkedIn is a social media platform for professionals, so you can't afford to look less.

Let's continue with our discussion on how to use LinkedIn to get a job easily...

2) Career Interest - If you want recruiters to know you are available to take up new jobs, then you need to switch on the "Career Interest" section of your LinkedIn Account.

When you switch off your career interest, recruiters may not bother contacting you because they may erroneously think you are not available to take up new challenges.

3) Educational Attainment - Don't forget to update the educational section of your LinkedIn profile. If you graduated with good grades, state it they. This is because a typical recruiter may consider that before reaching out to you.

Also include non-degree programs you have undertaken. This could be short courses or work related training that you think may be relevant to recruiters.

Stay tuned for more on this...
