Why is that women are always asked by their husbands to go for family planning? I have learnt to know that family planning is not really easy or pain free as it is usually painted. Women undergo a lot of discomforts in the course of sealing their family planning. Meanwhile, men have their own types but they won't volunteer themselves for it but rather, they ask their wives to do family planning.

This is an evidence of chauvinism that has made our women subjects of tortures disguised in family planning.

I brought this up on this platform as a result of an incidence that happened in a family. It goes thus:

There is a man who married another tribe and the wife gave birth to three children through operations. As we all know the implications of giving birth through CS, the wife was advised not to try conception anymore as that may take her life.

After the last child she gave birth to, she lost the memories of all she usually passed through during her delivery. In short, she got pregnant again! When she got to the hospital, the usual hospital she delivered of her three children. The doctors and nurses there lambasted and tougue-lashed her that she took wrong step for her to have gotten pregnant again.

She was reproached because they have told her to go for family planning. According to her, not that she did not really want to do family planning but she was afraid of its(family planning) accompaniments.

Now, in this case why not the husband of the woman. Why must women go for family planning? Why not men? since the woman has gone through many stress and discomforts during delivery of her children, why not the husband this time around that should go for the family planning.

Husband's sperms can be made inactive or the ducts through which sperms pass can be tied or cut to prevent him from impregnating. Why not men but women?

It's when the man has ended up with 10kids, that's when he'll come to his senses. Family planning is available for both genders. I have a male friend who went for a mastectomy after concluding he'd had enough.
I even prefer the male version because it's the man who will still pass through the stress of providing for the 100 children after having, so why not make sure it doesn't happen? Nobody will even accuse you falsely of getting her pregnant

Men do though not as common as it is for the woman.
In my case,I take responsibility for it.

Because, they are the ones who mostly bear the burden of unwanted pregnancy.

Because women only knows how to sit down at home, chat on WhatsApp with numerous men and open their legs.

Trust me it's the ignorance from the couple or in this case the man. And may be misinformation and misinterpretation plus religious and cultural belief.

But opinion this is the first time l am seeing only a the other half go for family planning while the other stay behind.

Married and unmarried couples plus single dem,you guy are highly needed to come ohhh
