If you are parent whose kid has been kidnapped for close to a month, I am very sure you will be too happy to have your child back than ask questions about if the kidnappers were paid or not.

I really dont care if they were paid or whether they were bullied, I am happy children who should not be dragged into this madness have been freed.
the parents were also among the characters in the script. Keep encouraging this northern demons , you will soon become a Victim

Then let the Govt tell us the truth that ransom was paid. Why so they tell lies? Why do they feel over 170 million Nigerians are fools? They are too dishonest. Who knows if all these were not planned from onset

To be honest eh, we need to split this country. This kidnap, like the Chibok one, was successful because members of the community were willing accomplices. Bleep! They even hailed the vagabonds who kidnapped their daughters. If the north wants to remain in 1812, let's let them be please. We can no longer share same republic with people hell bent on puling us backwards in the opposite direction. It is enough!

And when the northern youths told you to leave , you went begging. Your new tiny enclave would have been 6 months old now from October 2017.

You Dnt care if ransom are been paid to terrorist, do you know what that means to the society? You make them stronger, they acquire more arms and build more defense around themselves and in turn cause more havoc to the society and you Dnt care. You do not pay ransom to terrorist.

They had a window where they were promised that they wont be attacked or arrested.

That is how you negotiate peace accords to save civillians

And when the performed the same sequence to come abduct the girls easily, where they also promised the same window ? Remembervthe military were suddenly pulled out of DAPCHI days before the abductions

He is an APC apologist.

Are you just noticing this?

Most of the mods are like that. They'd make excuses for APC like their lives depended on it.

So we should not be concerned about the ransom paid, when the group would use that same money to indoctrinate and equip young girls of the same age to become suicide bombers, or abduct another group of girls or adults elsewhere.

Look how insensitive some people are? Complete animals with no sanctity of life. It's all about the political gains.

I'm sure he'd also go tell the family members of those that'd be killed by the terror attacks to be launched by the group using the ransom to accept it because the money was used to pay for the release of some girls.

I am aware he is an APC apologist, and he has barned me several times for speaking the truth against buhari, but I expected him to b a little sane to understand how these tins work. Mynd44. No sane country pays ransom to terrorist. It never works. Even if trump wife's is with bokoharam now, he would never pay ransom to them.

So after the billions budgeted and spent on military hardwares, we still have to pay randsome for 110 and the money used in strengthening their ranks to kill ten times that number undecided

I'm still in shock about the whole drama.

They kidnapped the girls, the president didn't release an official statement until his red carpet show of shame at Dapchi. A week later, they are released in broad daylight and even have the time to preach and cruise through town.

Meeeeen....we need to sell this country and give each person his share of the cash.

Sir, as a Nairaland mod, I plead that you save the last remaining piece of dignity you have by not commenting on what you don't know of. Or were you part of the negotiating team?
Or perhaps a BMC member in which case you shouldn't be a mod.
Really? So cause mynd44 is a mod he shdnt have an opinion? Wow...where did you get that skewed idea from?

Son state yours and move on...if what he said or what anyone says makes you loose sleep please counter theirs in a civil manner and not trying to gag em...nowhere in the Nairaland rules does it say that a mod can't make a submission on any thread at least Seun comments whenever he deems it fit to!

And youths like you (that's if you are one) that label people as BMC and what not, all because they don't see things through your prism are a huge problem you know!

Nigerians are truly wicked (most).

Should the govt not act?

Should they have gone commando style to sambisa for the girls thereby risking the girls lives just to make you lot happy?

Incase they paid ransome and you're against it, tell us what you would have done instead.

If you can't profer a different solution than what has been done to reclaim the girls, yet abuse or say rubbish here. I will pray ritualists visit your loved ones.

Since you want to be insensitive, maybe a dose of your own medicine can make you sensitive a bit.

Bloody wicked souls.

There was never an abduction! Amnesty International said it. We also know it.you didn't pay anyu ransome and you didn't do any prisoner swap.
Boko Haram is now a credible organization. Infact they should start selling membership forms.

Expecting an APC apologist to show understanding is futile.

They know populism would get Nigerians and that's why they're coming up with this excuse.

If PDP was the one paying for these ransoms, they'd have organized protests to condemn the negotiations.

That's how they were doing weird calculations to make petrol N45 per liter, saying that subsidy doesn't exist. Watch how they've started justifying subsidy that Nigerians shouldn't pay too much for fuel.

Nothing is above politics for them, including the lives of people.
