This video cant be true...
The girls were dropped off around 3am. Well, thats what the government said. And it is plausible. Given that the news broke out today as early as 7am.

Who release this video ? Is it the media or BHT ?
Because the govt was so clinical about the OPs. No media house was granted entry to area even hours after BHT dropped off the girls and left.

Anyway, in stories like this, there are always 3 sides. The government side, the Terrorists side and the real side of the story.

"Like this government is known for providing accurate information?". A government riddled with lies and propaganda can hardly be trusted. We know the Buhari led administration never presents a truthful account on subjects relating to security, the economy and politics.

Sahara Reporters on the other hand have always been caught pants down peddling falsehood and barefaced lies.

However what we see in that video is not doctored, it's a well known pattern of extremism, extremists religious fundamentalism, poverty, illiteracy and a failure of the Nigerian state(government) in the North.

Boko-Haram exists in the North because of extremist religious views in the North, with the likes of Uthman Dan Fodio in the 1800's, "Mastestine" in the 80's, the Kano riots in the early 90's, Mohammed Yussuf the 2000's and Shekau today. You can see we can establish a pattern of extreme violence fuelled by high levels of illiteracy and government non-chalance.

Boko-Haram did not just appear from nowhere, it has always been there, walking the streets from the 1800's till present. It only manifests itself in different names.

With the kind of reception youths gave Boko Haram terrorists in Dapchi, I can assure you BHT is going back there for recruitment.

Because, I can't reconcile how you would give gun toting monsters, that came to kidnap your daughters few weeks ago, heroic welcome. Who does that?
In saner climes the purportedly unarmed terrorists will be stoned!

Master Henry
Dan Fodio conquered the North... Just like Christopher Columbus conquered the American colonies.
It has absolutely nothing to do with Terrorism.

Kano riot did not occurred in the 90s sir. Its a political party tussle that occurred in 50s.

And about Mertastine and Yusuf pls be informed that not all religious crisis is termed "Terrorism".
Well, this is discuss for another day.

Well, what we are talking is whether the Video was shot today in Dapchi or not.

[b]The Fulani War of 1804–1808, also known as the Fulani Jihad or Jihad of Usman dan Fodio, was a military contest in present-day Nigeria and Cameroon. The war began when Usman dan Fodio, a prominent Islamic scholar and teacher, was exiled from Gobir by the king Yunfa, one of his former students.

[b]terrorism
ˈtɛrərɪzəm/Submit
noun
the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.

Does this relate to Yussuf and Mastestine practices?

Dan Fodio
Well, what we are talking is whether the Video was shot today in Dapchi or not.
Nobody apart from the individuals in the video can confirm the authenticity of that video. Neither our government that is filled with propaganda nor a dubious Sahara Reporters.

What however is true is, extreme violence fuelled by religious fundamentalism is pervasive in Northern Nigeria.

It is hard to see an end to it.

Very simple sir.

The video is shot during daylight. 3am is not daylight. Not here in Africa, not anywhere in the world.
Now, the BHT came to kidnap the girls, shooting in the air causing terror and panic.
The following weeks, they drop the same girls off and then the terrorized and despairing people came out to wave them... Like seriously ?

How did the people know that BHT is dropping off the girls because the waving crowd seem well mobilized, informed and well organized ?
Some were even waving BHT flag like though BHT is a Political Party.

Clearly you don’t know what you’re talking about! Those “terrorized and despairing people” support the terrorist group.

This video was taken in late 2014 when gwoza, baga and the rest fell to the group, was this crowd also mobilized to hail them ??

First of all I did not see anybody in this video you posted that is not directly a BHT member.

And even if ordinary citizens were there hailing them, what choice do they have ?
BHT already defeated the Nigerian military, so what do you expect the ordinary people to do ? Chase BHT out with spoons and forks ? grin grin

Okay sir.

Yusuf was preaching Islamic Fundamentalism but it was not yet qualified as "Terrorism" not until he was arrested and summarilly executed in Police custody that his members went full fledge terrorism.

You see, the word "terrorism" is very technical. Not all religious crisis qualifies as terrorism.

Yeah I'm saying the same the samething sir.

The BHT defeated our military in Gwoza. So what do we expect the ordinary people there to do ?
Should they massage the ego of the terrorists or stand against them and be executed in front of their families ?

My guy, the original post was not even directed towards you.
And honestly I don’t care about your views, it is a known fact (supported by history and experience of government) that insurgencies can’t survive without local support.
Sorry to burst your bubble but I am indeed right, deal with it guy.

Did you go to a proper primary school at all or you just have an issue with comprehension ?? The date/location of the video doesn’t matter, it’s the content! Locals, specifically non combatants hailing terrorists in their village, one guy in the video even said with excitement “we will build you barracks in this town”.
Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by tdayof(m): 10:30pm On Mar 21, 2018

The issue is simple. Abiodun message is simple and straight forward. He's only against the fact that the video is of when BHT delivered the girls.

Jakesporeshenko post too is simple. He's trying to make a fact which is that notwithstanding when or where the video was taken, bokoharam are being asked by locals.

Who should we believe? The notorious Lie Mohammed or the people of Dapchi?

The people of Dapchi, backed by pictorial evidences claimed the terrorists dropped the kidnapped girls 0700 hour but Lia Muhammed, thousands of miles away, claimed it was 0300hour.

See as ecstatic youth cheered terrorists, smh. Probably, almajiri.
