Breaking: Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu May Go To Jail by Nkemakonam62(op): 8:20am On Mar 22, 2018
The federal government acting on the petition written by the former Chief Judge of Enugu state, Justice Innocent Umezulike, a brother to Ekweremadu (as both hail from Awgu Division) has filed an application asking the Federal High Court in Abuja to freeze undeclared assets that were traced to the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.

Justice Umezulike in his petition listed all the properties of Ekweremadu both in Nigeria and overseas and asked the FG to probe how he acquired the properties within 16 years of being in public service.

The properties listed for temporal forfeiture are ones that were not contained in the asset declaration form which Ekweremadu submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau. They are about 9 properties in Nigeria, 2 in London, 8 in Dubai and 3 in the United States of America.

Ike Ekweremadu will likely be arrested and arraigned after the investigation by the Special Presidential Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property.

For all I care all these people should be jailed and properties recovered...

But I get incensed when some people are left out while others are punished.

Whenever you find yourself in a position as high up as Ekweremadu, please do steal alot of money. When the EFCC arrive to take you in, do not hesitate to tell them that you are being targeted simply because you are an Igbo and so therefore marginalized.
