thrillionaire:That guy has captured you with his messages. Look at the words he speaks in the light of the scripture and judge. Ideas come from the spirit. Either from God or from Satan. Christians are easily seduced by doctrines because they don't study the scripture themselves |
| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by terrezo2002(m): 12:14pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
thrillionaire:Be careful. Ideas come from the spirit. They come from either God or Satan. If it is not from God, then it is definitely from Satan. Every ideas should judged in the light of the scripture. What is God's stand on those words. Don't be seduced by how sweet it sounds or by how innocent they look. If you take in these messages, it make you self centered, proud and you will tend to feel like God and forget the God who created you. Christians become captured by doctrines like this because they don't study their Bible again. If you fail to renew your mind always with God's words, it will be easy for Satan to fill your mind with his own perverted messages. Be careful. Take to my advice |

The Op is a certified amugbo.
Even Olumba Olumba and Guru Maharaji have followers.
I won't be surprised if the Op has people who believe in his nonsense. |

Billyonaire:Even though I do not share your spiritual "mumbo jumbo" the quote above resonate with me. I have had this passion of building and managing a physical and digital library with science lab and research centre included for over 5 years. I have so many ideas and projects in my head that I hardly sleep at night. To get a good sleep, I need to take sleeping pills. Africa is so backward because we refuse to embrace science and technology, we focus mainly on religion, spiritualism and entertainment, thereby lagging the rest of the world in terms of development. The problem is how will you elicit interest among the youths on how things really work? How will you get the youth away from Big brother, Facebook, Twitter, yahoo yahoo and numerous unproductive ventures our youth waste their life on. You and I had the burning desire to study how the universe work and spent decades reading and researching. Look at the science and technology section of this forum it is empty, now compare it to big brother naija, celebrity and romance sections. |

| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by thrillionaire(m): 2:13pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
terrezo2002:The book of Colossians makes me understand I'm a god (God lives in me and many more great truths) and I am therefore creative too. I study the word but I just want to get enlightened more on grace through faith. a lot of preachers don't even get this concept and they frustrate people with their mixing law and grace. Thanks again. |
| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by terrezo2002(m): 2:17pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
thrillionaire:The only way you can get enlightened is to study the scripture more. You will get confused if you begin to follow any other teachings because they are not the same. The Word of God is enough for you |
| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by plessis: 2:38pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
Sapiosexuality:it is foolishhness to make conclusions on life, the universe and other concepts that are currently beyond our mental and physical reach using logic, a patternized system of reasoning. For logic itself is inconsistent and can be contradictory sometimes. Two major requirements for knowledge are truth and belief. Infact, belief begets knowledge. Forget the atheists who constantly mock christians. Belief is healthy. We can work with belief in our search for God and the purpose of life. |

Raintaker:shut up your mouth and go starch your clothes for tomorrows church service. Your pastor needs money to send his children to the best universities. ...i'm sure you dont want the wrath of the your God to befall you for robbing him. |

plessis:I honestly don't understand your point. |
| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by plessis: 3:40pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
Sapiosexuality:you made a logical argument on the perfection of God and i was telling you that logic isnt enough to validate itself and to check for its consisteny, not to talk of making logical conclusions on certain concepts that we have zero approach for rational study. |
| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by Sapiosexuality(m): 4:16pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
plessis:Okay. Like what are these certain concepts with a false premise and conclusion? |

| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by plessis: 5:36pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
Sapiosexuality:you concluded that making deductions from certain premises on the chritian God led to contradtions. And i'm simply telling you that logic is not enough and might even be the wrongest tool to study what is inaccessible to our 5 senses. |
| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by Sapiosexuality(m): 5:43pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
plessis:Why isn't logic enough in that case? If you say something is infinitely perfect but seeks perfection isn't there a contradiction in your statement? How does anyone know that something that is unknowable with the five sense is unknowable? |

| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by plessis: 7:08pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
Sapiosexuality:first, logic is inconsistent. Secondly, forget the religious folks, we do not have an idea of the creator. Thirdly, I mentioned belief.....belief is the first step and a major ingredient for knowledge..... Electricity, gravity and other phenomenas were all unknowable before the human mind used belief and inquisition to take that step into the unknown. every discovery were at some point a belief. |
| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by Sapiosexuality(m): 7:19pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
plessis:How can 'Logic' be inconsistent and still be called Logic? How can anything be in concord and also be in disagreement? What do you mean by logic is inconsistent? Or you mean that it is not a basis for validity(realness) of facts? |
| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by plessis: 8:11pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
Sapiosexuality:There are so many reasons why logic is inconsistent. The fact that it is a systematic type of reasoning created by the limited human already limits it...there are so many paradoxes that we have discovered due to this patternized system of reasoning. But let me help you, go and take a crash course on axiomatic set theory..... And understand why and how a system of axioms cannot be consistent and be complete at the same time.... And why logic, a system of axioms, is not enough to validate itself. Logic is not the absolute... |
| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by plessis: 8:46pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
according to science, man only uses a tiny portion of his brain capacity. How can man create an absolute system with his limited thinking?....if he uses his full brain power, will he create an improved system or agree that this particular system of axioms is absolute? |
| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by Raintaker(m): 8:49pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
plessis:This has been proven to be a lie ,man does not use a tiny portion of his brain. Go back to your neurology Textbook and study how the brain works |
| Re: My Last Supper On Nairaland by plessis: 9:16pm On Mar 24, 2018 |
