My comment: I’m surprised that sometimes our so-called elderstatesmen open their mouths to make some instigative comments that have the potential to cause disharmony in our dear Nation. These old men have had their time (a very sweet swell time for that matter), captured enough of our common wealth to last their generations unborn and are now still trying to define / determine our future. Imagine such comment please. How can a retired COAS say the Citizens should not trust their Armed Forces? Is old age madness? I feel ashamed of this comment and have lost respect for the retired General.

My own is that Gen. Danjuma doesn't talk carelessly.
He was once a General in the army,an army chief and a defence minister.
He knows what he is saying.
We just have to take him serious
Let us stop thinking like that.
Buhari is also an ex Nigerian General and we can all see now that he isnt that intelligent.
These people are playing a high stakes chess game and all we are to them are pawns.
You think Danjuma cares about the herdsmen killings?

My friend, wake up and smell the coffee, you have been brainwashed with a one sided story for far too long; its time you open your eyes to the true realities on the ground and therefore stop masturbating over politically motivated bigotry and propaganda, using the Fulanis as scapegoats to achieve the agenda of a corrupt cabal who have been holding Nigeria and Nigerians in ransom and in bondage respectively.

First of all, it is better you understand where General Danjuma was coming from when he was making that statement; he is one from those cabals who profited immensely from the past military's corruption (oil bloc allocations etc) with an interest to protect, as the noose of the ongoing anti corruption war is tightening around their necks; they have therefore ganged up and being spear headed by Obasanjo to unseat the Buhari administration in order to save their fat necks - they are not doing this for Nigerians but for themselves; they have unfortunately found some gullible fools to do their biddings and even more gullible audiences being easily deceived by their hidden agenda.

As far as Taraba is concerned; it is the Fulani at the receiving end, where envy and hatred is the motivation behind their massacre by a State Government sponsored ethnic cleansing, headed by the Governor Darius and his co-travellers, who included the Speaker, Mambilla LG Chairman and a certain militia leader who coordinates the killings.

The Fulanis are the unfortunate victims of the current political agenda to unseat the president, where defeated PDP big shots who own and control almost all the media houses in the country are deploying their outfits to maligned the Fulanis by amplifying their crimes, through one sided reporting and subsequently aligning them with the president in order to discredit him.

General Danjuma is a Christian from Taraba who has obviously also taken sides with other Mambilla tribes; he was speaking to the gallery, using the press to incite the ppl against the Fulani; even though we know his aim was to get at his ultimate target i.e. the president - those with intelligence would recognise this as one of the cabal's grand tactics.

Fortunatively, this time around the Mambilla Fulani had been able to put together their untold side of the story, in a 7 part documentary in youtube, called "Mambila Genocide"

Part 1. gave a general introduction to the background of the of the massacre.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpfcJSNywZQ
Part 2. was a first hand fact finding account of the extent of the casualties, by the Ag. GOC 3 Dvision NA Jos, Brig. Gen. Benjamin Ahanotu, where he was admonishing the local tribal leaders for turning a blind eye and doing absolutely nothing to stop/report the killings, which he described as a brutal genocide worse than Boko Haram (because BH do not kill women and children).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vkd0Pb6LPyQ
Part 3. uncovered the political plot to exterminate the Fulani from Mambila and the coordinators of the genocide including the complicity of the state government in the plot.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrz27b1FiB0
Part 4. covered detailed gory first hand accounts by some of the actual survivors along with their human and material losses.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZavQ6vyhaI&has_verified=1
Part 5. identified ten localities of Fulani villages/settlements in which the attacks took place, as well as identified the names of every individual and the location of his/her murder, reaching to a total of 720 killed.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MTSj447daA
Part 6. Covered military intervention as ordered by (the then Ag. President) Prof. Osibanjo, under the leadership of Brig. Gen. Benjamin Ahanotu Ag. GOC 3 Divisio NA, Jos, showing Fulani corpses, mass graves and bodies of cows killed along with gruesomely mutilated ones.
It also covered interviews with some survivors who were able to positively identify and name their actual attackers - some of them actually known to them and yet not arrested.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEMfLfn-DfQ
Part 7 was a summary of outcome of the crisis, especially the complicity of the governor, his opposition to the military intervention to stop the killings and how the govt let off the principal coordinators i.e. Speaker (Abel Peter Diah), LGA Chairman (John ....?), militia head (Isa Sule Yambam) lightly as well as set all the arrested perpetrators free.

I hope this short piece may open some eyes to the ongoing politics of hatred, where the media is being used as a willing tool to re-shape public perception and opinion, along the well established religious and tribal fault lines.
Ppl should therefore be more critical about the news they read or watch on TV - many are in fact quite unbalanced; in terms of the story itself, invited studio guests and the often loaded questions posed to them etc - e.g. it is now customary to casually pass most killings as carried out by SUSPECTED Fulani herdsmen without subsequent verification as to whether or not they were indeed done by herdsmen as alleged; subsequently the public are therefore subtly allowed to continue holding the Fulani responsible even if it would later prove otherwise.
I have just one question for you.

Has Mitetti Allah ever denied being behind the attacks?

Lol.

Danjuma is perhaps the only human being for whom I have fervently prayed and wished for a slow painful death, similar to the way he and his gang of mutineers murdered his former boss, Aguiyi Ironsi.

But now, I pray for his fate to be delayed. I wish him live longer and conscious enough to witness and reap the rotten fruits of his murderous labor.

The weight of the injustices against the Igbo people shall inevitably weigh down and break all their bones, one by one.

Buhari's wife has complained about his atrocious leadership.
Buhari's own daughter has lamented her father's worthless government.

Defend yourselves or you will all die, TY Danjuma tells NigeriansADEKUNLE
24 MAR 2018

By John Mkom.
The former Minister for Defence, General Theophirus Danjuma has called on Nigerians to rise and defend themselves against ethnic cleansing.

• Rtd Gen. T. Y. Danjuma

Danjuma gave this warning today (Saturday) at the maiden Convocation ceremony of Taraba state university in Jalingo Taraba state capital.

Danjuma speaking at arena of the convocation, said he saw a diverse cultural display organized by Taraba state cultural groups which to him showed that state represents Nigeria in all aspect.

He said the unnecessary killings which is a target to ethnic cleansing on the people of Taraba and Nigeria at large must stop, just as he called on the people to ‘rise and defend themselves against the killers ”

“You must rise to protect yourselves from these people, if you depend on the Arm Forces to protect you, you will all die”

“This ethnic creasing must stop in Taraba, and it must stop in Nigeria. These killers have been protected by the military, they cover them and you must be watchful to guide and protect yourselves because you have no any other place to go”

“The ethnic cleansing must stop now otherwise Somalia will be a child play”

“I ask all of you to be on your alert and defend your country, defend your state” he said

Wonders will never end is this man not amongst those who are the true owners of Nigeria now lamenting and feeling insecure?

lose all the respect you want. Some people who lost respect for him before, now have it for him. Net gain if you do the math.

You must be an imp to express disapproval for someone voicing out concern for his people. Heating the polity you say? herdsmen killing indiscriminately with the Miyetti allah and macban douchebags confirming and bragging after every bloodfest hasn't heated up anything... It is the retired General telling his people to defend themselves that is affecting you ?

What are you gonna do? take away his oil block? Lol. Na you get the oyel ? Or wait take away his military rank, medals and honors? Or na you get army?
Morality is not by force. But tread lightly.

We should vote the qualified, preferably 55 and below.
Narrowing it down to the young in their 40s isn't wise.

If half of the people that supported GEJ but didn't vote, had voted, GEJ would have won in 2015.

How do you describe a Shiithole country in a big time shiitty situationhuh
These are very serious allegations against the Military especially one coming from a former Defense Minister.
How did we get here?
And what do Nigerians expect when they all kept quiet as Buhari strategically dished out all the Top Military positions to Fulani and defied federal character status and national balance.
The Herdsmen are killing nationwide, and all the President does is visit the communities herdsmen attacked and tell them to accommodate the Herdsmen, but does nothing to condemn or arrest the killers. As if the fulani herdsmen are being protected.
This is why many are crying that there is ethnic cleaning.
Buhari is the biggest problem Nigeria has presently.
when buhari was busy appointing fulani tribe only in all security parastatals, why can't obj, IBB, gej, senate and house of assembly members caution him and enforce him to follow federal character, they all kept quite what did dey now expect from such appointments. sultan of sokoto is the problem of nigeria, let us divide this country ones and for all, fulani tribe can never be superior than hausa yoruba and igbos. but hausas are still in slumber they don't want to take up what is rightfully there's. sultan positions must be eradicated by the hausas but they don't have common sense
