I write with tears in my heart,
I write a with heavy heart and total disappointment.

But, at the same time I write with faith, strength and with the believe in the supremacy of our lord Jesus Christ, who is the author and finisher of our fate.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has once again demonstrated his supremacy above man and has strengthened our faith in him through Liya Sharibu.

However, I want to know why The Umbrella Body of Nigerian Christians ( Christian Association of Nigeria), Bishops, General overseers and Christians in General across Nigeria have remained silent, in the call for the freedom of the innocent super child Liya Sharibu

It borders me to know that we have all forgotten her, we have moved on, business as usual.

Let me use this opportunity to remind CAN, that they failed the family of Sharibu, but God has not forgotten her, Jesus Christ never fails, her reward is great... It doesn't matter whether boko haram kills her or not.

Liya is likened to the Apostles of old, the likes of Paul, james, peter etc. who stood firm in the face of persecution and death for The God of Israel.

It is a shame on CAN to have remained mute over the plight of the Sharibus, but the same CAN would be in a political party convention doing praise and worship.

The same CAN would gather to pray for politicans so they can win elections. CAN can never speak up or fight when Christians are persecuted in Nigeria.

It is also shameful to know CAN is now a full political Organization in Nigeria.

All the super rich milionaire pastors, Bishops and what have you. Please where are you?

private jet pastors, please where are you
I want to hear your voice!

The Bible says...1John 2:15. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

If your a pastor or a Bishop and your love for private jets, gold and all the material things of the world is more important than practicing the teachings of christ, then check your self.

I am not condemning any pastor, but I am only reminding Christians to be watchful of fake pastors Who preach and practice money.

What is the actual Role of CAN in Nigeria if they can't rise and speak out at a time like this?

My last question, how many of these millionaire pastors Can stand firmly like Liya Sharibu in the face of Death and persecution without denying Jesus Christ

I have not contemned nor judged anyone.

Liya Sharibu God bless you, Your reward is great in heaven!!!

I am proud of you and I love you.

@ OP, stop exhibiting ignorance and laziness to research. Why not 'google' to find out what CAN's response has been before opening a thread that embarrasses yourself and not the body of Christ.

Below is one of the links on CAN's position. The CAN president even called for national prayer for the girl in various assemblies last Sunday and we did pray for her in my own church. There have also been several voices amongst Christian leaders who offered some kind of solidarity with the girl and her family.

The problem of Christianity in Nigeria is not with CAN but is with those General Overseers who are busy building empires for themselves in Lagos and in southern Nigeria and do not give deserved attention to the massacre of our brethren in the north. Thank God for Bishop Oyedepo who speaks not minding whose ox is gored. But as for those GOs around Lagos-Ibadan expressway, it's an understatement to say I and millions of believers in Nigeria are disappointed in them.

If only you follow the news you would know the position of CAN as a body...which in these case that's the only thing dey can do issues press statements cos they are not soldiers or do you suggest they sell their private jets?
