As for military dictatorships....it happened cos the northern masses supported it. The first coup failed cos it wasnt a northern coup. The 1990 okar coup failed cos it wasnt a northern coup.

U guys put us in the mess we are in now. After obj a southern soldier returned the country to democracy in 79 u guys destroyed it cos u were afraid powr would return to south.

In 1993 u guys also supported the destruction of democracy cos abiola a southerner was about to rule. U guys would have gladly supported a coup in 2003 if obj didnt effectively put an end to such nonsense

The issue is that southern democratic presidents over 13 years FAILED to provide the basics of governance and institutionalised corruption (which was the hallmark of jack booted military dictators), yet the campaign for their reelection was intense in the south, so you have no moral authority to chide any northerner for supporting their preferred candidates. It is pure hypocrisy.

Why would i not chide bigoted northerners when i left gej a fellow southerner to vote in a northerner. When millions of sw left a fellow southerner to vote in a northerner...only for u guys to want to re-elect him on the basis that he is a northerner. Meanwhile nigeria steadily climbed from 3rd largest economy in africa to 1st under southerners. Nigeria left the Least develped list to developing economy under southerners. Nigeria financial sector ranked 2nd best in africa under southerners. Nigeria became a stable demoracy under southerners who are ever willing to leave power.

Yeah Nigerias economy was bigger than China's and Nigerians were throwing money out of their cars because the economic figures were cosmetically rebased, in fact it was so good that hundreds of Nigerians suffocated to death looking for non existent immigration jobs under southern presidency ...is your brain paining you?
