help my infinix note 2 LTE stopped charging this morning when it's on
it only charges when I switch it off

You complaint is almost a general complain by infinix users now. Sorry,I can't help..I know almost nothing about infinix.

I used it last night
I thought about the charging port too
but I'm confused since it charges when it's off
through the same charging port

it happens at times, they are your best bet to handle for you.

Yes it's the charging port. Did the charger come with the phone?

It's not a charger problem. It's the general problem of infinix phones. Charging port will most likely go kaput. I won't even go to carlcare, it's long thing. Charging port is less than 3k

the charging port is loosing contact with the motherboard, if you replace it the charging will be fast again.

I don't use fake chargers. In fact I have 2 Anker intelligent chargers that I use for all devices. This charger determines the right amperage that ur phone requires and supplies it. So my dear it's not a matter of fake chargers, it's a general problem of infinix.

I would go to an engineer today

My Tecno CX Air recently stopped charging while it's On too. I did a system update recently and I'm thinking it's the cause.

I didn't say you use fake charger and neither do I use an infinix phone. Phones charging only when switched off is mostly caused by fake chargers. The op has said he'll visit his engineer. Case closed
