NairaLand is an online forum that has been around for years now. In fact, when I first heard of NairaLand, I never knew what HTML was, Lol. But today I wish I knew what I know now years back. Well, I won't blame myself much, I very young then, was either in SS2 or 3, and grew up with this concept of going to school, study hard and come out with first or second position and have a dream of becoming a Doctor, Lawyer, or Engineer.

I mentioned "HTML" initially, for the benefit of us that don't know what HTML is, (I still doubt anyone between 10 and 40 years of age in this present time will be ignorant of that). anyway, HTML means HyperText Markup Language, it is not a programming Language as most people think it, but it is the foundation of the web.

Okay, now that I've got that out of the way, Like the title of this post says, 'you can own your own forum' with interactive and advanced, web2.0 features that will wow your users. But have it in mind that you have a big competitor who's been around for years "NairaLand" and what you need to up your game is a serious Digital marketing strategy. (Social media, Email, Adwords, Affiliates, etc.) because the key to succeeding and making more money from your website or forum or blog is TRAFFIC (the amount of visitor you have to your platform, and activities that go on there.)
