Medical students of the University of Benin have been kicked out of the NDDC hostel which was specifically built for medical students, but currently houses less than 10% of them.

It has been reported that rooms are being given to students from other faculties, and medical students have been asked to evacuate the hostel.

As of now, the 300 Level medical students who have their professional exams to write, next month, don't have a place to stay, same goes for their other colleagues. The students were seen hanging around the hostel, today, after being kicked out.

I only said what I knew oh.. They never told us that it was a medical hostel even after people had started staying there. T'was when I graduated that I started hearing the whole medical hostel shii. I knew engineering and pharmacy students staying there so do not call me ignorant pls. If they changed their minds and decided to turn it into a medical hostel.. All the very best to them.
