Hello guys I have just sent my documents to a friend in Abuja to help me certify and attest them but I have just heard that visa will need to be stamped at abj, my question is when do I have to go to Abuja in other to save cost and how long does the stamping process take ?

1. Not all Visa's are stamped in Abuja but then if your will go through tat process then its better you do all certification and documentation yourself.
2. It might take between 4 days to 7 working days depending on the day you started. Because medical result takes at least 3 days to be ready then Friday (am not so sure about this) is not a work day at the embassy, so you have Mon to Thursday therefore let's say you go there on Mon,and you did your medicals, which might be ready on Thursday then you proceed to the embassy after the interview and biometrics they will tell you to go that they will call you later, (unless they have stopped this routine) then that will be the next week and that's the day they will stamp your visa

Indians who are entering new jobs in the UAE can finally relax as they do not need to produce Police Clearence Certificate (PCC) to apply for new job Visas in the UAE from 27th March 2018 onwards. Apart from India, 7 other countries are also excluded from the good conduct certificate requirement, including Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Egypt, Senegal, Nigeria and Tunisia.

From February 2018 onwards the UAE government had made it a must requirement to produce good conduct certificate for all new job seekers applying for the UAE Visa, however, the new rule came in today as a relief to many as the numerous official clearence stages can now be skipped.

The UAE has postponed the requirement for good conduct certificate until further notice.

In a series of tweets, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced: "Kindly note that the good conduct certificate is postponed from the first of April till further notice."

Good conduct certificate: Guide for all nationalities

The tweets come barely two days after the ministry refuted rumours that the certificate was no longer needed for certain nationalities.

"There are no updates on the PCC (police clearance certificate) till now. It is required for Indian applicants. If there are any updates they will be shared on the official channels," the department said on Twitter last week.

The announcement had come following rumours that PCC was no longer a requirement for job seekers from nine countries: India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Kenya, Bangladesh, Egypt, Tunisia, Senegal and Nigeria.

The good conduct certificate was made a mandatory requirement by UAE authorities in February this year.

How Indians can get a good conduct certificate

The certificate will only be applicable for the worker concerned and not his/her dependents. Those coming to the country on visit, tourist or student visas needn't get the certificate either.

Earlier, speaking to Khaleej Times, a Dubai Police official said that if an expatriate comes to the UAE as a new employee, "he/she will have to get a good conduct certificate from his/her home country before the visa can be issued".

However, the official clarified that the certificate is not mandatory if an existing resident is switching jobs within the country. "But it's up to the employer if they still want a certificate of good conduct issued by the local police from the employee."

If you trust your agent, nothing to worry about, there are lots of people we did biometric and interview together yesterday. Some are still yet to have their visa because their company still yet to update the UAE embassy with their details in Nigeria, they're still working on it, but all the applicants have done all the neccessary things they were asked to do at the embassy, just the company delaying....
Probably your agent doesn't want that, he/she might be taking just one step after another.


How much did your agent collect?? I mean what is the average price pls put a hustling brother through

The processing of your employment visa has to do with your company's PRO and not UAE immigration.
