I got airtel just for browsing.Facebook takes time to open.Even other networks.Mb later got expired.Kukuma went off and use the time for my research. I cannot come and kee myself.MTN ti take over.

Whenever it happens with any of these networks, I give them few minutes, sometimes restart my mobile device....bam I am back online

All I do to resolve mine is change the network data setting to other alternative available option. Simply go to your:
1) Settings
2) Network Setting
3) Access Point
4) Select Airtel sim
5) Then select an alternative data setting available and click on it.
6) Or simply off and on your data repeatedly till it pick up. - For that, I recommend you put on your cellular data traffic reader so you'll know when you data is active as the traffic will be reading at the top of your phone as indicated as screen shot below.

not just cost. They steal data too. One min u av 500mb, next min its 10mb even without browsing sometimes. Happened to me severely

I experienced the same thing, I even thought is was due to my area. they need to work on this asap plus they kept deducting from my account, now I can't even recharge till I want to sub cos if I did and leave the unit na so dem go zap am

Listen carefully and you will hear the option of speaking with a representative. They always hide that option when they are overwhelmed by too many calls whenever their network gets crappy.

As much as I hate to admit it, mtn is the only reliable network to browse in this country. The rest will just give you one head ache or the other.

9 mobile is good. Better than MTN in my experience.

I haven't used Airtel since 2013 and won't be using them anytime soon.

I subscribed a 5K worth of airtel megapack data last month February. upon 3days to expiration with 2Gb+ left. I couldn't browse telling me am out of data, thereby directing me to the free facebook page.

I called customer care hoping it would be resolved as I was told to wait for 12hrs. after 12 hours they sent me a message saying the issue has been resolved meanwhile it was still same old story.

Later I realised that when I switch to edge I was able to browse, upon switching back to 3G it does not work and hence it brings out same out of data balance page. I then did another 1k5 subscription hoping it would work. only for it to give me thesame error. calling the customer care has proven abortive as they keep telling me they are busy. only God knows what all this is.

I have visited their twitter handle only to find out that am not the only one experiencing this. tons of people experiencing the glitch yet they pretend nothing is happening falling on deaf ears with so many complains and plea thrown around. as for NCC they are a dead organisation.

internet service in nigeria is a scam, its not just airtel 9mobi, glo you pay for data and use less than you paid for, thats why 4g lte cant work for the big 4 telecom, unless ur on smile .

I've been using glo for the past 3 days, sometimes I feel it's even better than Airtel. Airtel I'll open one page and the network will die, then I'll have to on airplane mode and off again to reset the network. Not only on my phone sef, I was initially thinking it was a phone problem sef but it's not. And theyve been deducting my credit got some stuff I never subscribed to, called a lot of times but they've done nothing about it
