My book isn't "noise". There's different between " noise" and " sound".
And listening to audiobooks isn't just with headset. Mini speakers do the wonders, too.
Whether or not audiobooks are cool depends on your kind of person. I can only listen to audiobooks while doing something else like walking, or some other physical chore. If I try to listen to audiobooks alone, my mind wanders.

Why not harness the wandering to a greater extent where you think deep? It happens to me because I only listen to heavy books. From Psychology, sociology, public policy , economics, sciences anything along that line.
Wandering, I can actually get my brain to recreate the image of what is being discused.

Adam Grant and Nicholas Nassim Taleb are some of my faves.

He makes complete light work of it. And other superstitions too. You will see things very differently after reading. I'm halfway through but I feel so enlightened and empowered. Knowledge is power indeed.

Lemme just say none, but i occasionally read MIND IS THE MASTER by James Allen, or Steve Covey's 8TH Habit Of HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE.

Reading all this books without discipline is a utter waste of time.

Pleass someone should recommend for me any book similar to that of Richard Wright's NATIVE SON; filled with crime suspense.

You are really a big fan. I only read "1st to Die" before the one I'm currently reading. I might get around to seeing the movie after I'm done with the book. Although I read it received mixed to negative reviews.
