you are in big trouble if you don't have deep pockets. You will spend up to $2800 to ship that car. No possible way out. You will ship to texas first. Then ship to nigeria. You saw a cheap car on copart in honolulu hawaii and jumped up in joy and bought it. Better you pay $400 and ask that car to be relisted.

A car can be shipped from anywhere depends on the kind of car.
Not wise for cheap vehicles.
People buy cars from california or even Washington.
Do you know if the car is an expensive car? Abi na all motor be $3000? What made you even think its from copart (relist fee 400)?? Sabi Man

If one finds a very good deal for a car of $12000 above. Even if its in hawai or los angeles Its worth the money trucking or frieghting it.
Galveston texas shipping to lag is $850.
I dont think he's going to spend more than $1000 max to freight it to texas.

honolulu is not california o and in terms of distance, u can't compare both. Trucking from california is inland. From honolulu, u will ship over sea, then land. I have been there. When u ship/truck from honolulu, come back and retype. Your submission on buying expensive car from such locations is true though. It wouldn't really matter. But apart from auction who would really fly to honolulu to buy a car and not know how to ship. That place is closer to China than other areas in US.

i never said cars can't be shipped from hawaii. All I said is cost wise, it's not reasonable. When you are done with enquiries, let us know. Please try and help the OP ship that car from honolulu to nigeria at $1850 too. Not just coming here to type.

From Los Angeles, it's $1,200 and it's shipped inside a container so it's safe from wharf rats.

I know it's cheaper from Texas on a RoRo but I would never ship RoRo again unless things change in Nigeria ports.

Op, you bought a car from Honolulu. You are in for a long thing. Better let them relist that car. That guy saying it is possible is talking rubbish. Check USA map and see where Honolulu is. Most cars on IAAI listed there are very very cheap.
