Yes their name was recorded in the Bible. Moses father was Amram,his wife is Jochebed. She also bore Miriam and Aaron to him.

When there was need for wet nurse, Miriam asked if she could look amongst the Jews for one, since they knew the child was Jewish and no Egyptian nurse will nurse it.

Moses' mother was called in. She was paid to nurse her own child.

Moses, kept close taps with what went on amongst his people, because, altho he was raised in the palace, he knew his true identity.

If the incident of her defilement did happen which made her brothers take revenge on a whole village, her name would not have been mentioned. Even when it was mentioned, she was not countered as a Child.

In the case of Miriam also, she was mentioned only becos of the vital role she played in the life of Moses, without that she wouldn't be mentioned at all.
