I am so sad. I gave my life to Jesus christ,was a true christian and lived a christian life. Yet, my life fell apart and my mother died. Whereas, others do not live a christian life but call themselves a christian - they fornicate, they swear, they live in sin.. yet their lives are blessed, and mothers are alive.I feel like I wasted my time being a christian, I am so upset and ashamed of my life today. It is not fair.

Read the Job story in the bible.
Again, I think people become Christians because they seek protection, favour, etc. That has been the relationship of forefathers and their gods. Maybe that is what we have been doing in today's christianity.
"Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it". Matt 10.39
If you surrender your life to Him, whatever happens around you is God's problem, not yours. So, y worry?

Dangote is not a christian. The essence of being a christian is to make heaven. your ability not to measure life as one of this world is important.
Choose between the earthly "GPA" and the heavenly "GPA".

The biggest misconception spread by the church is that giving your life to Christ guarantees a prosperous life.

Giving your life to Christ only guarantees you eternal life, what guarantees you a blessed and prosperous life on earth is wisdom.
Even the Bible affirms that wisdom is the principal. People who had a close relationship with God still pray to him for wisdom to direct their ways.

The people you referred to as "not living the Christian life" but things are going well have acquired knowledge to create wealth.

However, the advantage you have as a Christian is that when God bless you with wisdom to create wealth, it is "good success" with peace of mind and lasting prosperity while the people in the world have their riches fetter away like dry leaves in a storm

Remember, your aim is not just success but good success Joshua 1:8, Proverbs 3:3-4

Do not give your life to Jesus. Give your life to He who created Jesus, you and to whom you will be returned. That day you will be announced dead.

Respect Jesus but do not worship Him. Do not call Him God, Son of God or triune God. That is utmost blasphemy and wrong.

God promised to test us with both good things and bad thing. Being patient and enjoining good is what is expected of us. Results of your deeds will be received on the day that we are resurrected.

I invite you to give your life to God you will enjoy here in the world and hereafter.

you were deceived to think this way. Now that you have given your life to Jesus the second time, do you stop committing sin?
I don't think so. So you were fooled by religion.

At this point, your life was already in Jesus right from the day you were born into a christian home, you did not need to give your life to Jesus the second time again. This born again doctrine is tormenting christians.

whether you like it or not Christ has redeem them irrespective of their sin level. They are all christians, but they will suffer the consequences of their fornication, swearing etc. So don't envy them. You that you are not committing sin again you are a better christian inspite that you lost your mum.

if you choose to be a christian for Christ and yourself alone and not being a christian for your church and pastor you will never be upset and ashamed .
