Judaism is a religion no different than Islam or Christianity. Igbos were practicing Judaism before Christianity. Only in your colonized state of mind is it alright for Igbo people to practice European ROMAN catholic christianity but not "Judaism" that was the first Abrahamic religion in West Africa.

I think its hightime we erase the myth about the Igbo connection to Jew origin .History always have a funny way of linking people of different language, culture and heritage with each other, but however if you understand History you will get to know that the origin of most Afrian race is shrouded in antiquity, thus the slightest materialistic evidence, and similiarity in culture common to two tribes or ethnic may be used by some Historians in deciding connections of different people, tribe and as to where they origininated from.


Several historian have traced the History of the igbo to Israel, Japan among others,country in Asian. But the truth be told, till date so many tribe and ethnic group in Nigeria and Africa at large still find it difficult tracing their origin, thus the unnecessary claim to certain sect of individual.


As regard the igbo origin, Archaeological evidence has immensely contributed to the reconstruction of their history and shed more light on their past. The discovery of the Nok art and other cultural materials by Archaeologist in Enugu and other Eastern region has however revealed to us that the igbos have been in their present geographical location right from 1500BC ,thus discarding various migrational origin theory by some Historians as regard to the igbo origin.

I once bought the Makkan and Egypt crap until I read about the archeological discovery of skull in the South West, Iwo Eleru. The skull dates as back as 15,000 years ago, does not look like a modern human.
It is longer and flatter with a strong brow ridge; features closer to a much older skull from Tanzania, thought to be around 140,000 years old. Africans need to be taught history so that they can have self confidence
