The rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid and Lionel Messi of Barcelona appears to be on a never ending course as fans look for every opportunity to energize it.

After Barcelona lost to Roma in a quarter final game last night which led to their crashing out of the UEFA Champions League competition, fans took to Twitter to praise Ronaldo for succeeding in the same Italy against Juventus where Messi failed against Roma.

Messi had one bad match and haters started trolling. I Have lost count of the no of matches where Ronaldo has been invincible, yet there isnt so much hullabaloo about it. People expect so much from Messi, no wonder he is the Goat.

Barcelona was a total catastrophe yesterday. From d coach to d players. Messi is still d outstanding player in that team. Suarez plays these days like he's pregnant. Pique and umtiti are always heavy and d coach? Always bringing Andre gomes and Paco alcacer to do only God knows.
