There was confusion after a fish was spotted along a major road in Mpape area of Abuja last week. The fish which was found dead – caused a huge scene and heavy traffic gridlock in the area as residents and passersby gathered in their numbers to see the aquatic animal.



According to Rina Onwujairiri who shared the pictures, the shocking thing about the incident is how the fish got there considering there is no river around the vicinity where it was found.

Thank God it wasnt found near a river. They would have eaten it for sure.

The stench would discourage that. If nature had coincidentaly marked it with patterns similar to a revered arabic word I will agree that they will turn it to a shrine of some sort or if the fish had remained fresh despite being dead I believe they will revere it also. But looking at it I dont think it fits into the worship category but rather into the village people dong wonders category.
