this project can't stand the test of time, what are they doing since 3 years they have been in the government. if you don't know, we have nothing less than 10-11 months for presidential election, but still Apc is selling this white elephant project to the south east. it's so so unfortunate that they will be disappointed at the end of the day. this white elephant project will never be delivered till pmb handover power in 2019 for the presidential candidate that wins the poll. he will be using this pictures of white elephant project for his campaign in the south east region. igbo people shouldn't forget what he did in the south east region in 2017. the blood of shed innocent souls are still speaking. people should be aware of his tactics.

However, I'm only skeptical of the fact, whether the rail adjoinment is still part and parcel of this present structural design.

Hopefully julius berger don't disappoint, by making sure crispy - sleeky - sizzling - scintillating interchanges are added to the structural designs of the bridge.

I visited site of second Niger bridge today being Sunday 15/04/2018, although workers where not on site when I visited because today is Sunday, but inquiries I made from our people living around, they told me work is seriously going on, and from what I observed there are lot of difference I most say, I once visited the site 2015, from what I was told, the reasons why they delayed the project when PMB became president, was renegotiation of project price, also removing tolling on the bridge that was on initial plan, hey had to settle those their properties will be affected and many others.

This is why folks in that region are either clueless or just their own sad and pathetic enemies.

GEJ's plan was total enslavement and deceptive plan to make sure the folks in that region pay for their own bridge via 30 years worth of toll payments instead of direct FG/National funding like the other FG projects all over Nigeria, but for the same tribal, political and silly reasons, they supported GEJ and his plan to saddled them with toll payments for 30 years while people on other regions enjoy similar FG projects free of charge.


As usual, thanks to Fashola and PMB, the atrocious and dubious plan was thrown out the window.

Glad that PMB and his team are doing the right thing regardless the hatred and ignorant comments they get from many ungrateful and tribal elements in that part of Nigeria.
