This is one of their geatest problem; ego. If you want produce President in 2013 you better start forming alliances with other regions of the country. No region has the capacity to singlehandedly produce a President.

Shivering like vulture already...

What do you mean the governors couldn't develop the state? Which state in your SW is more developed then the ones in SE except Lagos?

Why is Igbo president your greatest problem? If you can bear Fulani president, Yoruba president and and an Ijaw president, why can't you bear an Igbo president? How did Obasanjo develop Sw states when they gave Yorubas the president?

Shattap!

Ogun and Oyo are more developed than anywhere in state in the south east.

Forget it,... every tribe exploit their people...Was it the Igbos that sold the Yorubas here?

Wrong.

Hausas were captured by Arabs.
Yorubas were captured by slave raiders
Igbos were sold by their own brothers.

Politics does not mean we should disrespect ourselves

What would you call someone who knowningly write false things to deceive gullible people?

So slave raiders built this house in Badadry?

It was confessed that the prospects of Trans Atlantic Slave Trade fueled into tribal wars in Yorubaland as the rulers and slaves who had taken part of the European slave merchants' offer, went all out to wage war on the other towns and villages with the sole aim of getting slaves to be exchanged for wine and guns."" Good for you. Try to be fair in your comments next time. I am neither PDP nor APC. Again Buhari won this time because power ought to move to the north. It has absolutely nothing to do with GEJ performance or his dealings with the Yorubas.

I am not interested in your opinions about what is fair>

It is funny how the internet makes everyone a warrior.

What is good manners in real life is good manners online.

In politics the essence is disagreement. It takes a real man to manage disagreement without getting personal. Spouting abuse is easy ,very easy. The hard part is to restrain yourself and think before you talk.

You can believe what you like about why GEJ won just like I believe what I like.

Sorry to bust your lies. There is something called turn. Nigeria is not ripe to vote based on performance or the group that are ready. If it were, GEJ would have continued. Buhari won not because of which group that was ready but because power had to shift to the north. Even PDP members from the north voted for Buhari. Can you remind us again why only Obasanjo and Falae contested in 1999? Remember Obasanjo came out from Prision...or was he campaigning from the prison?

Are you saying that the late Dr. Ekwueme, and Chief Etiebet did not contest in the PDP primaries against Obasanjo in 1999? What guarantee has Nd'igbo that we will get the ticket of any of the two major political parties should persons from the SW and SS decide to join in the contest?

Obasanjo had strong connections with the North and most of the retired Generals were his colleagues in the military. They mobilized for him and of course the desire of the North to make up for MKO Abiola's death played a big role. The North knew they could only have power back by finding a formidable ally in the South, and conceding them the first shot at presidency at the return of democracy in 1999.

The same Obasanjo mobilized for Jonathan and helped him secure the presidency in 2011. Jonathan had to win Taraba, Adamawa, Plateau, Kwara, Kogi, Nassarawa and the FCT. He only lost Niger state. Bottomline is, you need to get the numbers. You don't fold your arms and say it's you turn.

So, I repeat there is no such thing as 'turn'. Was it the 'turn' of the South in 2011? Buhari hardly campaigned in the SE and SS in 2011, I am sure he believed it was their 'turn'. When the veil in his eyes were removed, did he not rush to forge a partnership with the SW? Jonathan had same partnership with the SW in 2011 and won 5 out of their 6 states.

Igbos must wear their thinking caps now. If it is truly about 'turn' as you think it, after 50 or 20 years, it should have reached us.

Where is the incoherence when it seems you are hurt be an Igbo president?

Personally I don't care where the president comes from. What majority of Igbos want is fair distribution of the nation's wealth and not the present state where only the north and SW are benfitting for 50 years now. This happens irrespective of where the president comes from. Take a look at 2nd Niger bridge, it would have since been completed if it were in the north or SW.

Who are you to advise on Igbo's priority? What is Yoruba priority?

as far as Yoruba is concern Yoruba had political diversities. I ve never see where Igbo condemn there politicians except okorocha that's from different party they hate

you people political insight is a product of empirical advances and that's why they will keep riding your folks

it is not by mouth let them earn the trust of the people from other tribes. The earlier they begin to appreciate and realize that the vote of other regions can do the magic the better for them.
Besides I don't care who gets to the no 1 sit as long as he is answerable and competent to do the job.

Nobody is riding the folks. It is a federal govenment policy since after the war that has stretched more than a 50 years.

What did Igbo do wrong in supporting Shagari, Yaradua, Obasanjo, and Johnathan? Why is their region least developed in federal terms...forget about state development. Good governance comes with equitable distribution of national resources. Isn't it?

Nigeria is a sh*t hole...where leadership is on the basis of regional equation and not performance. Just like you have in quota system scheme... Bavo your moniker...People will vote for a stone in APC from the north, so the north could complete their 8 year term and power move to the south...Campaigning for Buhari or a stone from the north has absolutely nothing to do with performance.

"Must" is a wrong language to use for something u have no control over.
In politics there are no permanent friends aso no permanent promises.
Once those promising u 2023 get wat they want ur 2023 becomes another promise cancelled.
Just like the west was played in 2015 , the East will be fool in 2019 if they believe 2023 has been sloted to the East.
