hi guys, i want to use this medium to present our kennel MmK, our kennel is located in the south-eastern Nigeria.
Currently we specialise on two breeds of dogs: Caucasian shepherds and Boerboel but due to some strict decisions we decided to focus on one breed; caucasians. All our Caucasian shepherds are pedigree with papers and they are all imported from the best bloodlines in Europe. Our passion, love, aspirations and targets regarding these breed is enormous and difficult to contain thats why we must breed what we think will improve the breed's originality. We have imported champion bloodlines with emphasis on size, protectiveness, long coat, height and conformation.

History of the Caucasian Shepherd
The Caucasian Shepherd Dog is a bit of an ancient breed. They have been guarding livestock such as sheep in Caucasia (the mountains between The Black Sea and The Caspian Sea) for at least 600 years. During this time, the breed haven't changed too much. In fact, their teeth are longer than any other breed which hints at their ancient past.

The Caucasian Ovcharka as he is also known are natural protectors who will happilly fight and take down any intruders be it human, wolves or even bears. They are a working breed and need to have a job to do to keep busy.

They served shepherds in the Caucasus mountains as guard dogs, defending sheep from predators, mainly wolves, jackals and bears. They are still successfully serving in this job, especially in Georgia, and the shepherd's life is impossible without these dogs.

It's perhaps a sign of the times that they are now becoming more popular domestically to protect property from thieves and in prisons to deter the inmates.

However, the Caucasian Mountain Dog are also one of Russia's most popular breeds and are frequently shown in the Show Ring there and throughout other parts of the former Soviet Union.

Meet Chernozemya Lucky, a male imported from Russian federation. Lucky is a black caucasian with a white patches on the chest and on its paws. Lucky is currently 10months old.

Unfortunately, Lucky who was supposed to come to me at 10weeks arrived on Nigerian soil on december 25 2017 at 6months old. It was a very long wait with a lot of disheartening stories attached to it. But we are glad he finally arrived!

When Lucky arrived Nigeria, there are sequences of behavioural problems that accompanied him. First, he has an intense trust issues, it was great in depth that he doesn't allow anyone to touch him except his favourite vet Mr Josiah. Secondly he was not potty-trained at all. Immediately i met him, i know there is a gargantuan task ahead. He has not been walked on a leash before so taking him to his first walk was very difficult it nearly resulted to an accident.
