Whereas,in this part of the world,we want to keep everything just the way God created this fallen earth - no changes at all. No exploration of the natural world, nothing! If God should check Nigerians' brains on judgement day,He will find out that almost all did not make use of the brains He gave them;it remain intact. Just imagine the zombies, the Bmc crew.. |

authority2006:Did you even read what I replied to before you wrote the above? It takes only seconds to do so. Or you want to justify the "lazy youth" yarn of Buhari? ![]() |

AreaFada2:Yeah, I did. The guy talked about committing crime, then you went on ranting about their third world mentality and how their punishments for crimes was severe and blah blah blah BTW: I'm a Buhari supporter. I'm educated and working, I'm not a target of Buhari's harsh words, lazy youth know themselves. Those who are on the payroll of oil companies and FG without doing any work. |

authority2006:I do not know how well-traveled you are. If you have been to a few dozen countries across the world like me, you might know better. UAE is an Arab country that was a simple oil producing country just 25 year ago. Just because the facade looks glamorous, people do not change in mentality within such a short time. Third world countries across the world have stiffer penalties than Western countries including capital punishment for narcotics, some even for adultery/fornication, and other crimes that are considered just misdemeanor or not even criminal behavior in the West. Some US states being exceptions with capital punishment for murder. A large number of Nigerians jailed or sentenced to death abroad are unaware of the gravity of their crime until they get to court. So is it wrong to use this public forum to highlight the fact that despite the visible affluence that their punishments are very harsh? How can somebody warning people now be the one going to commit a crime? Well if with all the education you claim, you make such a conclusion from my post, them maybe 9ja education has seriously failed. I noticed in the West that education is tailored towards productivity. Not just theory & for certificate. From my observation here on NL, Buhari supporters tend to be very illogical. No Head of State goes abroad to rubbish the youths, not even some or most of them, as Buhari did. UK has a considerable number of young people who have never worked for one day. Some even feign disability, fooling doctors, to claim generous disability benefits, with flat paid for, feeding money and other benefits. Some on welfare benefit even live better than many doing lower-end jobs. Those feigning sciatica, back pain, joint pain, rheumatic pains even use clutches to walk when going to the Benefits Office. Sometimes they are caught on camera while playing football, jogging or doing referee, etc. Suspicious officials monitor some and catch them. Some are ordered by the court to pay back £50k and more previously collected over time. But have you ever heard Theresa May mentioning those lazy people in her country when travelling abroad?? |
