Nigerian Police, FRSC vows to go after producers of rotating Number Plates seen in this trending video. 

Says every vehicle in Nigeria must be registered and have a number, not many numbers.

The number plate rotates at the touch of a button, just like the one on Bond’s Aston Martin DB5 in Goldfinger.

Quit amazing? Yes, Autojosh feels so and even the police even applauded the brain behind it but feels criminals could use this James Bondian trick to evade arrest.

“We have come across this video which has gone viral. This technology is good but very criminal in our Nigerian context and it should be condemned. Every vehicle in Nigeria must be registered and have a number, not many numbers.

“We will work with other relevant security agencies in this regard to curb proliferation and incessant use of fake or unregistered number, and even discourage the coverage of number plate with a leather cover, says Force PRO, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

I watched the video somewhere yesterday and I just smiled.

Nigerians are talented, no doubt but I just wonder why out talent is mostly used dubiously.

I pray we soon have a government that helps us channel our abilities to good and positive uses only, by creating conducive and rewarding atmosphere for talent to thrive.

Other countries have passed this stage in terms of technology but Nigeria have decided to remain backward. Instead of going after bandits and Fulani herdsmen, they're going after the producers of plate number.

Abeg We need a visionary leader like PO to get this country working again

It's actually wrong to keep your number plate in a concealing manner.

Criminals can effectively exploit this innovation to evade being caught.

When you have unpaid armed robbers in uniforms extorting innocent civilians in broad daylight walking freely and no one says anything about it. My friend's family had to cough out 50 Million naira recently. Kidnapped for 5 days and his girlfriend serially raped right before him. His relative was shot in the head right before his eyes.

Stories like this do not make the news and no one cares. The Nigerian police force is looking for weed smokers and people on dread locks. It will get to a state where we all would need to carry assault rifles to protect ourselves by ourselves. There will soon be no need for the police.
