I am a newbie in the freelance business and would like to know how much I should charge clients... Experienced freelancers please help. How much do u think is okay as an average pay

5 dollars per article is the standard price you can still charge more

As a newbie, the first thing for now should be getting a client and seeing how capable you really are..

of course you have to charge but not at the standard price for now... Build your brand, show your prowess... Then start flying high... There are so many writers with experience already...

But I still need an idea of what to charge.... I'm not just asking for what a pro gets so that I can start charging as a pro... But I need to at least have an idea so that I don't surchange myself or look to ambitious if I overcharge more than d standard price... Or is there like a no disclosure deal that nobody wants to say anything ni?

there is no particular price at least for big brands that understand the importance of Contents..you negotiate... But there some people especially Nigerians that have bastardized the pay... But I at 1.50 per word is quite OK...
