Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission "LASIEC" Website Suspended by lagosmp3(op): 2:23am On Apr 24, 2018

It has been brought to our notice that the website of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission LASIEC has been shut down.

This was discovered by one of the our correspondent in a quest to do the analysis on the voters' behavioural pattern between the 2017 LGA/LCDA election and the last Bye~election.

It would be recalled that APC, being the major ruling party in the state won virtually all the seats at chairmanship and councillorship levels in the May 2017 LGA/LCDA Elections.

However, there was pocket of violence after the said election as some politicians protested their displeasure in some quarters, mainly the Accord party with their principal, Hon. Dauda Kako Aare (Member representing Mushin 1 Federal Constituency at the Lower Chamber of National Assembly) leading the protest.

It was, however, not cleared what the causes of the problem with LASIEC website is as all the efforts and phone calls through the commission's spokeman was unsuccessful as at the time of filing this report.

First it was National Assembly website that was hacked. Next the website was suspended. Now it's LASiec angry
