How fair is UI on admission process? Have you seen or heard about someone who met or beat the cut off mark and was denied admission other than the case of wrong subject combination?

it is rare ui has the most transparent admission process in Nigeria so calm down and go prepare for postutme

Question 1

UI Putme questions has the same standard as jamb UTME questions . They are jamb standard in all respect.

Question 2

It depends on luck. Last year, my batch (Saturday batch) were given just 5 simple calculations in physics( that is 5 out of 25 questions ) while the Friday batch were given 21 very tough calculations in physics ( that is 21 out of 25 questions)

Question 3

I didn't sit for mathematics, so I can't say, but I remember UI asked a question in physics that requires you to solve for sin 27°(question was on projectile)

Question 4

Comprehension (usually between 5-10)

Lexis and structure(minimum of 10, usually the largest part)

Synonyms and antonyms (minimum 5 but never up to 10)

The general English questions like figure of speech, noun clause, correct spelling, e.t.c (maximum but not always, 5)

Medical laboratory science
Dentistry
Agricultural economics.
I scored 30* in jamb,and am very good in Biology,good in chemistry, and fair in physics.
I like health related course,but one that can put food on one's table in Nigeria's economy.
but I learnt UI has increased its tuition fee of medical students, which is giving me second thought of medical school (college of medicine as a whole)
that's why I chosed Agric economics.but I want to change to any of the above.
advice also needed from oda bosses and readers,I really need advice before i go for change of course on Monday.
