In as much as I agree Messi is way ahead (career wise) but Salah has been exceptional this season in all competitions far more than Messi.

So for this season Salah is more impactful and key than Messi for their teams
Same way Ronaldo made a huge impact in Laliga and Copa Del Rey this season!!!
And i thought you have sense!

Your only obsession is trying to discredit messi as much as you can, for whatever reason strange to man.
Football has seen only 2 players arguably better than messi, which are Pele and Maradona.
Nothing you can do about this!

@bolded

You talked about the champions league so I would restrict myself to the champions league.

1. Who remembers messi destroying arsenal with a 4 goal performance? That is not a big stage?
2. Who remembers messi creating history by scoring an UNPRECEDENTED 5 goals in destroying Bayer levercusen? Not a big stage?
3. Who remembers messi destroying Manchester United in the champions league final of 2009 and winning the man of the match? Not a big stage?
4. Who remembers messi destroying Manchester United in their prime again in 2011 winning the man of the match award? Not a big stage?
5. Who remembers messi destroying Manchester city in the champions league quarter final? Not a big stage?
6. Who remembers messi destroying juventus in the champions league final 2015 and giving an assist for suarez's goal? Not a big stage?
7. Who remembers messi destroying bayern munich in the champions league semi final in 2015 and scoring one of the best goals in champions champions league history? Not a big stage?
8. Who remembers messi destroying a.c. milan in their comeback from 2- 0 down? Not a big stage?
9. Who remembers messi destroying chelsea early this year? Not a big stage?
10. Last and the best, who remembers messi destroying real madrid in the champions league semi final in 2011, taking out a 5 real madrid defenders including Ramos, Pepe and Marcelo and scoring arguably the greatest goal in champions league history?
Not a big stage?

I was tempted to forgive your blasphemy but as they say falsehood thrives consistently when the truth is not spoken.
For the fact that the club hasn't won the champions league lately does not give you the right to say messi is always missing in big matches.
It's a fallacy which you should be afraid to speak but since it's a faceless forum you're not.

In the champions league history, messi has had more big moments and big stage performances than any other footballer in history born of a woman.

I want you to prove me wrong about that.
I am waiting.

Bros you fall my hand! Why wasting this piece on clowns who started watching football last night?

Best player in the world and yet the only competition they are vying for is the Champions League which they are not even sure of winning. Scoring useless goals and padding up stats when it doesn't matter makes a person a useless player to me.
Ronaldo and Salah are in the same category. Scoring useless goals!!!
No you are actually wrong about Salah..Salah isn't padding stats, he's not scoring useless goals either.

I understand your point bro.

By when rubbish is spoken for too long unchallenged it becomes infectious to other foolish people.

IMO Super Salah has had a superb season, And

I do understand the reasoning of those who say Salah has been better than Messi.

Every player is graded according to his standard.

By his standard Salah has had an excellent season for sure, a superb season.

By Messi's standard he has not had an excellent season, just a decent season.

Key words here - BY THEIR STANDARDS.

There are reports that Barcelona are considering not going through with Arthur's transfer because they want a player 'who blends touch and technique with pure physicality'. These guys need to be flogged in public. That was how they went to sign Paulinho because of physicality.

Now, they're going to sell Munir after his impressive season with Alaves. Or send him back on loan. I don't know why they can't keep that boy in Barcelona and give him gametime. See what Zidane is doing with Asensio and Vazquez. We can sell Alcacer. Then have Messi, Suarez, Dembele and Munir as attackers. I don't know how this board reason. The boy has shown he can do it, give him minutes consistently so he can build confidence but no, they'd rather go and buy a more 'established' player. And Valverde would rather play Suarez in every _fucking game even when Suarez might be playing _shit and keeps on benching Dembele for a reason I'd never understand.

30+ goals, and yet the league was won two weeks ago by a team scoring meaningful goals.
When Vardy was scoring freely like him, Leicester City won the league. So, till date, all his goals are meaningless.

It's funny though how people are always quick to compare one season wonders with Messi and Ronaldo. You start wondering what is actually wrong with people!
Maybe you guys should ask Hazard what's up!!!

The high line played by Roma last night was suicidal.

That pattern could get a coach sacked.

At every point the ball got to Salah he had only one man to beat.

At every point the ball got to the trio of fimino, salah and mane, they had 3 on 3 to beat.

Against barca roma didn't press so high at their backline.
Every time messi alone got the ball he was crowded by 3.

Then again,

Even the best coaches could have their own moments of madness.
He was a cunt for taking out salah at that time.
At that point roma weren't looking to equalize.
They were looking for just one away goal to take to rome.

Koop should have realised that.
Leaving salah on the pitch would have curtailed roma's attack.
He could have told Sarah to play easy and sub him around 82 mins or so.

Instead of a healthy 5-0
They now have 5-2.

Fuccking Klopp.

Salah plays virtually all of Liverpool's games ..his time has to be managed to avoid injuries now or later..I can't fault klopp here...
Didn't roma play a highline against Barca in the return leg.
when roma focused their attention on Salah ,mane was getting the chances but he just missed them guess it wasn't his day.

Even at that. At least rest him sometimes for the business end of the season, develop your own. Barcelona don't do that anymore. What has Alcacer done since he came here that Munir wouldn't have done? Nothing.
