I didn't apply for REM because my application has complete b4 I noticed it. I have lost out completely. Did u get the CNE?

I just got a mail that i made the Reserve list of GEMMA (Women's and Gender Studies). I hope people drop out on the main list or the European Commission approves everybody on the reserve list for the scholarship. Anyone from Nigeria in this category?

The list was not revealed. Only mail sent for now. The mail reads:

Dear Candidate,

We would like to start by thanking you for your interest in GEMMA. Out of the applications received the GEMMA Selection Committee has proposed three lists to the European Commission: Main List, Reserve list and List of Non-Selected candidates. Candidates have been ranked in order of merit so that Erasmus Mundus scholarships are allocated in that order.

YOU HAVE BEEN INCLUDED ON THE RESERVE LIST.

If any candidate from the Main List rejects the scholarship, this will be offered to the first person available on the Reserve List, according to the order of merits.

You are kindly requested to CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS and communicate your choice to GEMMA (gemma@ugr.es) by responding to this email as soon as possible and no later than Friday 27th April 2 pm CET.

1. You ONLY wish to participate in the programme if there is a drop-out from the Main List and an Erasmus Mundus scholarship is offered to you as the next person on the Reserve List. In that case you will only have to send us further documents if and when you are offered the scholarship.

IMPORTANT: Please note that, regardless of the option you choose, your position on the Reserve List will not be affected. The lists have already been submitted to the European Commission and no changes will be made to them, unless the Commission decides so or there are drop outs. On behalf of the WACOMA Selection Committee, we are pleased to inform you that your application has been assessed and it scored high; however, since the number of available Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is not enough to cover all eligible and high quality applications, you have been placed on the RESERVE-LIST.



Number of available Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Scholarships available for the academic Year 2018/2019: 24.

Pre-enrolment at the Embassy: Non-EU students living outside Italy shall pre-enrol at the Italian Embassy or Consulate from 19 February to 24 July 2018. Official Information HERE. Selected candidates are suggested to promptly contact the Italian Embassy-Consulate in their country of residence for information on the procedures and deadlines to complete the compulsory PRE-ENROLMENT process as to obtain a valid Italian visa for study reasons.

Selected candidates will receive a pre-admission letter from WACOMA upon receipt of the formal scholarship award notification by the Agency EACEA.
