I don't like Dino for his lavish and ostentatious lifestyle especially in the midst of poverty

However, you cannot deny his voracity and outspokenness albeit childishly at times

But so far,, he seems to be preferred by his constituency despite all attempts to bring him down by whatever puppeteer pulling strings somewhere.
If he comes out of it intact, he should learn from his travails and be a better person.

Same hand writing on that list. I may not like dino or any other corrupt politician in Nigeria, but this is another kind of low.

I say it. God will continue to vindicate Dino. All the plans against Dino will continue to be expose and destruct. This man had not done any thing evil, just for standing up to injustice people are calling for his head. God will deliver Dino from evil and blood sucking men in this country. Instead of looking for way forward for this economic backward country. People are engaging in wickedness

From Every indication, this Yahaya Bello must be a dunce in all ramification. No wonder Kogi remains one of the poorest states in the country.

The million dollar question now is: will even INEC come out of this with its image intact. Because the casual eye wil now view them as mere tools in the hands of the ruling party officinados. Hind sight is always twenty twenty and I'm sure if this thing goes south they will wish they had cut and run after the court injunction. This is a big shame to all those involved. And a stupid risk by INEC ahead of the far more important 2019 polls.

Honestly, that is too bad for Nigeria and symptomatic of the fact that we have not built on 2015. I think we have to revisit the clause that gives the sitting President the powers to nominate the INEC chair. In view of the nature of our polity, it just doesn't make sense.

But we made progress in electoral reforms under Jonathan. Why is the Apc and Buhari bent on taking us decades backward?

Good observation this is what I keep telling anyone who cares to listen that buhari will rig the 2019 presidential elections everyone knows how long it took this despot to get to that seat it will be extremely very difficult for him to just relinquish power just like that.

How much do you know about psychology? That may help you in deciphering what drives our president and his political party. Power corrupts easily, especially one deems you above the law, unanswerable to anybody. Buhari had gotten a glimpse as a military ruler. It has an irresistible pull to him.

Sometimes it's better for some thing not to happen at all rather than finding solutions to problems that may arise from it occurring.

Jonathan with all his faults was not power-hungry. That's just the basic difference between both men, a difference so basic that it completely drives their ideologies in different direction.

The constitution as a whole has to be revisited. That constitution is what breeds the alarming rot that pervades our society today. Whatever you see happening since inception of democratic rule has constitutional backing, a constitution created by military rulers. No wonder ex-military men have this insatiable allure to continue ruling.
Change the constitution and you'll see the simultaneous change in our society.

He is not 'preferred' by his people. They only declined to recall Dino, because they hate Yahaya Bello their governor, who they felt is the one backing Dino's recall. It was not done out of love. It was basically out of their dislike & antagonism for Bello.
