My problem isn't the lie the bastard and his wife are propagating, my problem is otherwise intelligent people dignifying them with answers.
Who doesn't know that the stock in trade of the flattinos is lying and playing the victims card. Their level of intelligence is the LOWEST in the world
Their stupidity is legendary

Show me proof by posting links where Anambra and Imo made Igbo language compulsory for every pupil or student to study or shut up forever!

I wish Ikoyi can revert to what it once was. Honestly now it takes billionaires to comfortably live in Ikoyi.

Why not? My Class Teacher in Pry 4 used to live in Gerrard. I missed Ikoyi, most of my childhood friends are no longer there... Na Billionaires like una de stay there...
Yeah, billionaires, 'money-miss-road' politicians, diplomats and some captains of industry live there now. Ikoyi is no longer what it was. I moved out a few years back myself. I am not a billionaire, o! cheesy

You can choose to believe or not, it's your prerogative. She's not Igbo by the way, she's just not a native. New policy I guess.

There are no such policies. sad I know several kids from different ethnic groups, attending public schools in Lagos within my church, outside it and even within the estate where I live. My former neighbours were Igbo, and all their kids attend public schools till today. My colleagues in the office come from different ethnic groups, and more than half of their kids attend public schools. undecided So where did you get your own story from? Was it all the public schools you asked to admit her, that rejected her? Please tell another lie, abeg! shocked There must have been another valid reason why she was not admitted to the school.

I asked for proof showing me where Igbo language was "enforced" as a compulsory subject in schools and here you are showing me a writeup about Igbo being studied as a course in the university which is NORMAL... A prerequisite to be promoted to Senior Secondary 1 under Junior WAEC Exams where a native language of the candidate's choice is compulsory (meaning that Usman who is schooling in Awka can decide to write Hausa instead of Igbo in the Junior WAEC exams) and be exempted from the law of the promotion whether he passes it or fails it...And finally a scenario where it is to be used in all transactions on Wednesday

Please where does that translate to forcing everyone schooling in the said institutions to study the language?

Is this how you people claim to be the most educated and sophisticated tribe in Nigeria when you cannot read in between the lines?

Anyway, the education was FREE and we all know that whatever is free is usually SUBSTANDARD! grin grin

Guy, you could not read where it said the Anambra state govt made the Igbo language compulsory in its schools, for all students in their state-owned institutions? huh It even listed the names of some of the tertiary institutions where Igbo language was mandatory for such students. Or don't you know the meaning of the words 'compulsory' and 'mandatory' again? huh It is sad that the education you received was so substandard, that you cannot understand the meaning of such simple words... Biko, read it again, o! I fit borrow you my contact lens, make you take check am, o! shocked

You made the statement about 'forcing' everyone schooling in such institutions to learn the language. Is Lagos State forcing 'forcing' anyone to learn their indigenous language? Guy, you need to free your mind. They only made their own language compulsory, in the same way Anambra made Igbo language compulsory for its students! End of story.

If credit in Yoruba language is a criteria for admission into tertiary institutions in Lagos state, then other ethnic groups has been technically screened out.But it's unfortunate that it's the other tribes thatmade Lagos what it is today.
They're not making it a criterion. They're making it an acceptable subject, meaning it can count towards your five credits. This will apply in Lagos State-owned institutions.
