Is it okay to bath a new born baby with dettol bar soap?

There's still ample time for baby to go into cephalic, yes some people believe the cold floor will irritate baby to shift same as flashing a bright torch.

Don't know if it works sha.

As for type of birth if baby is still breech at due date doctors won't let you go into labour but schedule you for a section.

OK ma'am thanks let me just put my mind in both birth plan incase of anything.

TankGod for the journey so far, it hasn't been easy but God saw us through.

Last week the devil came to late, when I decided to wash my undies nd bathroom. nxt ting I saw ws me on d floor, I fell with my bum bum to d ground towards the door.

TankGod it wasn't to d toilet sit or the shower handle or worse me falling face flat with the tommy to d ground. though my left hip to my vg area hurt as if I broke my pelvic bone, my baby kept kicking tru out d day maybe trying to tell me " mummy sorry I'm fine here". it cn only b God

I'm surprised that the soot isn't getting to Eleme axis since I don't stay too far from you (east west Rd before tank) and yet the soot is annoying in my area.

Don't fret, your baby will change position. U still have 7 weeks to go mama. You know these babies flip and changes position anyhow, so thats his position during the scanning. Just be at peace with yourself. Am sure if you have another scan done in a week time, it won't be same position.

Please, kindly bathe baby with the soap specifically made for them. If at all you want to use medicated soap for new born, use baby tetmosol. the colour is pink.

I might go for chicco now..

I'm a first time mum too I read reviews about chicco here so I went for it. Also heard aveeno is good but it is way more expensive but if you can afford it, please do. I also heard of sebamed, boots and cussons products they are nice too. Below is aveeno baby lotion and price...

In my opinion, there is no best soap or lotion. The koko is for your baby not to react to it. I use boots products for my son and so far, it's been good. Although i don't use d lotion now, i use olive oil. I even have coconut oil.

People here have testified to sebamed too, albeit pricey. Chicco, cussons etc

On Saturday the 14th of April I woke up to feeling cramp like pain that comes and goes though it wasn't v serious but d pain increased later in d day but it was still bearable, I went for homecell in d evening where I saw a cell member that is a nurse, I explained how I was feeling to her and asked her how contraction feels like as a ftm dat I am...
Ff to Sunday morning the pain increased, still bearable but came at close intervals at about 10am I saw d catarrh like stuff mixed with blood aka mucusplug my dh said we should go to d hospital I said no cos the pain was still bearable and I was stooling, I tried sleeping but when d pain comes I wake up, by 12 my mum called asked dh to wake me up and take me to d hospital, I took my bath put wrapper and my ANC card in my hand bag (cos I didn't want any1 to know wat was happenin and my house is not far from d hospital ) we trekked to d bustop passed long journey sef got to d hospital collected my folder and went to labour ward.
The nurse told me to lie down on d bed and she examined me and said 2cm but there's still space called a matron to pls help her check me dat she doesn't understand, d matron checked and said 6cm that my cervix was thin or something like that jare, sent my dh back home to bring my bag, 2 female docs on Housemanship came to see me took my details, blood and urine sample, ran iv for drip all this while d pain was still bearable oo.
The consultant on call came wore gloves to examine after which he told me he was going to break the water at d next contraction , after breaking d water he left that was when d main contraction started, when it comes like this I will jump up from from d bed, d nurses will be shouting madam liedown but only standing was helping and it was coming like every 3mins, after sometime I started shouting nurse I want to wee wee oo, nurse said wee wee there then she fixed d drip to my hand, after I did I started feeling the baby's head pushing me I told d nurse she said when next I feel it I should push while looking at my stomach. I pushed d first second and third time no way, on d next contraction I felt a very sharp pain where she cut me and d next push my hairy fine bobo came out urinating and screaming at 6:34pm according to d nurse weighing 3.1kg.

Drink more water and reduce stress and walking alot.....sorry dear..Hope folic acid is not among your antenatals because it helps the growth of uterine fibroid

Not really.... folic acid is necessary for the Baby esp in the first trimester.....
What makes uterine fibroids really grow are the hormones oestrogen and progesterone that are increased in pregnancy.........

I would take the folic acid

wow.. That's a wonder o. I got the pregnacare today. These docs are just confusing. Mine said that for first trimester, 400mcg of Folic acid is ok, but it's even additional iron i need. So am taking pregnacare original and ferrous until my first trimester is over.
