Thanks cappo for the check up, went for another scan last week and my placenta position changed from posterior to anterior prior to the 3 scans have done before which was posterior. Baby gender was seen as XX instead of XY seen before. Handling over everything to God because He has the final say over my condition right now. May God deliver us all safely ijn. Congratulations to every mama that have birth their LO. They will all be a source of blessing ijn .

We stood together as a team, no situation we couldn't handle.
We were 29 as at last roll call.
We had 3 Mommas who ported to #teamMarch2018.
We had 33 safe deliveries... what a joy!!! 12 mommas shared their Birthstories, but 21 Mommas are still recovering, please oblige the house just as we enjoyed other team's testimonies.

To the glory of God we recorded no loss, but had 2 miscarriages. Proudmum38, and Eezohbae, we saw strength in you! We are anxiously waiting for your testimonies.

I am handing over 3 #TeamApril2018 Teamies to Mumsgirl27, am so sure they will all deliver safely, just as in this same light we received 7 Babies from #TeamMay2018, and others.

Please if the stomach pain is painful go to hospital. I was given pcm injection for stomach pain, yesterday own was terrible that I started crying

Thanks to all that responded.
I called mumsie and she advised I take paracetamol. I did and the pain dissappeared. I took it again the next morning .She also advised I take cold water if I have any such issue again. My mum definitely missed her profession. She should have been a doctor or a nurse.

Birth Story.

To God be the glory!

I really thank God for everything right from the beginning, it was a great experience. I pray for those who are looking for the fruit of the womb God almighty will surely answer them very soon.

Hmmm, when I was 7 weeks gone I started bleeding so we quickly went for scan which show no fetal heart beat chai! fear catch me ooo so I called my doctor friend who asked me to go for another scan and even told me where to go because he trust them but more expensive. so the next day we went for another scan and lo and behold we were told that the baby is doing very fine. I told my doctor friend and he prescribed primolut injection to be taken once in a week for 7 weeks.

Fast forward to 34 week. I started feeling some kind of push in my anus and my stomach will just be hard. Then, I was at home for easter so I told my mum about it and anytime I want to go to the toilet she will wake up and tell me not to force myself to poo and even come and check me if I didn't come out on time, lol. Anyway, she sha use style tell me to go back to my place and get things done.

At 36 week, I started feeling serious and frequent brick hick. I told my sister and she asked me to be doing exercise (dancing and trekking) and I did but chai! it was as if baby will come out anytime I'm walking. so at 37 week which was my target, lol the brickhick was so serious and anytime I check google I will see that 37 week sef is not that ok but I started noticing some fluid leaking so I went to the hospital, did scan and Checked my PCV because it was 27% at 19 week. I told the woman about the fluid but she didn't say anything she just gave me the result at the end without even recording the amniotic fluid so I went to see the doctor who examined me and said it was my discharge.

So at 38 weeks 4 days which was my antenatal the nurse said my baby is not engaged yet chai! I sha left the hospital and made sure I trekked instead of taking bike because baby must engage o, lol.. When I got home I told my dh about it we sha didn't sleep on time we started gisting about people's birth story later he was begging me to do the do but I refused but was using style to stimulate my tip hmmm na so I started having lower back pain with lower abdominal pain at every 5 minutes and it was already late and I wasn't sure if na labor pain hmmm I no sleep oo I was busy checking the time but I told my dh that we must go to the clinic very early in the morning.

We left for the hospital around 7am because my dh said we must bath chai! I was shouting at him come and see my dh taking time to comb his hair, I asked him if they are doing beauty competition at the clinic he was just happy that his baby is coming but me no still believe because how can it just start at every 5 minutes even some times 3 minutes.

Hello, can someone please recommend a good antenatal clinic in Festac area and also in Agbara? Thank you.

Festac:
1. Golden Cross Infirmary ( 22 Road) . I used them for my first baby and have been with dem for 18yrs . Power has recently changed hands sha so d really good old hands are no longer there.

2. Mother & Child (MCC) .1st Avenue .. Govt owned. Heard they are good but have also heard some not so good story in the mix.

3. Sabo crown hospital: 7th Avenue. Many of my colleagues use them and have good things to say about them

4. Emel hospital (21 road) : relatively big hospital. people say they have good paediatricians.

Dettol is antiseptic and your baby is very brand new and has no dirt on him, infactvhe he has some good substance all over him.
I'll say go for a baby soap, it is very mild and has anti-tears (it doesn't pepper their eyes)

okay baby soap like cusson,Johnson etc.The baby series I bought is Moore and it doesn't have any soap in it,only powder,Vaseline,baby oil and cream and sponge.

Please, kindly bathe baby with the soap specifically made for them. If at all you want to use medicated soap for new born, use baby tetmosol. the colour is pink.
