Hi mamas. Pls this is urgent. My 6weeks old boy has been warm since morning, took his temperature three time today and I've had 36.7, 36.3 and 36.5 consecutively.

Pls is this normal or what is considered normal temperature? I'm a FTM and I'm thinking of going to the hospital. Nothing out of his ordinary in his routine. His forehead just feels warm to touch.
Lol. Concerned ftm don't go to the hospital yet. grin

36.anything °c is very normal. You should begin to watch it when it crosses 37°c and begin to worry only when it crosses 37.5°c. Your baby is very much OK, fret not.

Hello Mommas, happy new month to us all.
I had my DD 10 weeks ago, after which I had some frontal hair loss. Please any reviews on hair products or remedies that can improve front hair growth rapidly?
Thank you all.

That bad? So I should not bother? What else can we eat now? I know your baby was eating plenty things abeg help me with suggestions. This child of mine only wants Tombrown, cereals, and Eba with Ogbono soup. Potatoe and plantain puree na fight. Other foods are just one taste and that is the end

Yeah she might not like couscous but you can try. My baby sef has backed out of the foodie group. Does she like beans, indomie and egg, you can try those. Fruits too, my baby loves mangoes and pineapples

That Eba own is almost like feem. I'm tempted to start making for her to take to creche sef cause she eats it with so much joy. I have tried feeding with hand but it's same drama. She eats rice but just like other foods, after a few spoons she begins to shake her head as per I no want again grin

My baby takes eba to crèche o, and they feed it to her as breakfast when the other babies are having their cereal. I cannot come and go and kill myself cheesy. Favourite food is favourite food, you cannot fight it grin

Please my baby's BCG site came out after like 5 weeks. She's now 10 weeks and the thing is still swollen like a little stump although the 'face' is dried up and healed. It doesn't give her pain or anything. I just don't like seeing it looking swelled up like it just came out freshly.

Is it eventually going to flatten out some day or that is how it's gon be? Or rather what do I do to make it go down?

@rezzy, please am so concerned, about your son.Pls take him to see a pediatrician, those specialized in nutrition. His weight at his age is a thing of concern.
I don't want to scare you but malnutrition in toddlers is not to be played with.
God will guide you.
All the best ma.

I took him to general hospital some times last year and was told to go and feed him well. Infact, I was mouth lashed both back, front and center.

I will check to see if i can find one at the general hospital.

Thanks ma for your care.

The swelling will go down on its own. It's nothing to worry about.

On d food matter, my son was also like that. Although he has changed a bit. You can play with his pap and cerelac sha. For other food I have discovered what he like with gradual process

He loves indomie and egg, he doesn't eat boil egg so I break d egg inside the noodles and he eat with so much joy... He doesn't toy with fried rice and jollof rice and beans.
Also he loves Ribenna
...he will change with time.
He goes to creche once in a while and he do eat at creche than at home.
HE is also chief of plantain.

Please my 11 weeks old daughter just won't take formulae she wants only breast milk, I was advised here to get other types and which I did but after first trial she won't take it again.
I'm so bothered right now cos I'm resuming work next week Monday. Been having issues with mil cos she wants us to force-feed her which I feel the baby might get used to and in turn cause problem when they start crèche.
Her twin bro takes between 75-100 mls which my daughter struggles with 25mls. Please what can I do about tgis

Have you tried expressing? Please do not force feed her. What you can try though is to let someone apart from you offer her when you're not in the room (MIL isn't an option since force feeding has occured to her, maybe your DH), otherwise express BM for her to take when you're not there

Mama twins, sorry dear...Try expressing and feed her with the bottle. You will need to do a lot of experiment o..Try different bottles; avent, tommee tippee, dr.brown... If she refuses all, try spoon. If spoon does not work, try syringe. Also, you will need to try another milk; probably she does not like the one she's taking now. DO NOT FORCE FEED.

I had same dilemma when I was going to resume work too, my daughter refused formula. I bought different bottles try, changed milk...finally we ended up giving her lactogen with syringe till she turned 4 months and I started supplementing with Heinz cereals.

Am I even normal?! embarassed Is this how separation anxiety feels? But she's just two doors away? embarassed
Why am I even feeling this way?

So I went with my girl to my HM's office. After I finished what took me there, she asked me to leave my girl with her and she'd bring her to me when she starts crying. I said ok and left, but couldn't stop looking over my shoulders expecting her secretary to run after me with her. embarassed I was surprised cos sometimes my girl doesn't like others carrying her.

Here I am wondering if she's OK (HM is a nice mother tho), since I've only ever left her with her dad and no one else. I hope it's not separation anxiety I'm feeling sha embarassed embarassed embarassed

My baby does not like egg. That's her nemesis. Put egg especially the yolk in her mouth and you gon learn that day. She eats indomie but not much. She does not really like Ribena but she likes yoghurt. She likes plantain too but for now only eba and Ogbono soup seems to be winning.

Thanks so much ma'am she takes breast milk but it's not enough for her cos they are two. I've tried Sma gold and lactogen (those are the one I can afford) but it's still same story. I've used Tommy tippee and a nameless bottle no changes, the only thing I've not tried here is syringe feeding.

She takes breast milk well but it's not enough, DH, SIL and different people have tried feeding and atimes we are so lucky she might just take very little. Now DH is joining Mil to say we should force-feed. I'll keep trying thanks ma'am.
