Nigerian Youths Are Truly Lazy, Just Like The President's Observation by Nobody: 11:45am On May 03, 2018
So I work with a security company where I'm paid close to 90k monthly, and I have this former subordinate who called to tell me about an opportunity for graduate security guards, and that the pay is around 50k. Of the jobless people I contacted, you won't believe up to 60% had excuses and didn't take it serious. As I type, I have sent him over 200% of the amount of candidates needed, but I'm sure they won't cover the number needed.
Politicians (these old folks we keep insulting) are not like that. They plan their future and follow it step by step. From councillor, they bid their time, and follow the plan faithfully till it materialises! Take for example, our president contested on several occasions before he was able to win the seat he presently occupies. How many of us go back to jobs where we were told no? How many youths are ready to take on unfamiliar challenges and see them through? How many of us are ready to sacrifice our present for tomorrow? More and more questions are left begging for answers.
The modern day youth wants everything on a platter, they want solutions on a plate. They blame the government for every problem in their life, but never want to put in much effort. Those that put in a little effort are OK with the little results they get.
I'm not saying all are guilty of this, but the majority are!
Please forgive any grammatical error, or unfair conclusion, thank you...
