For them to call you asking for your credentials, maybe it's for verification.

I studied biochemistry (with no working experience yet) and I'm having a written interview for the post of a Quality control officer tomorrow, I just don't know what to lay my hands on. Pls what are the likely questions I should read on? Your response will be appreciated.

If you have not claimed to have experience, just be prepared for general questions about biochemistry, laboratory, and how biochemistry relates to the job. You should have an idea of what they manufacture, roles of quality control , good hygiene practice, how to prepare laboratory solutions, including storage conditions of common laboratory reagents( eg silver nitrate is stored in amber bottle). You may also need to know what the difference is between quality and grade, These are just general , I might be able to give you more hints if I know what the firm is into... All the best!

if that is the case, in addition to my previous hints,you may need to have an idea of fermentation and probably pasteurization, food safety and general hygiene. What they just need is a good foundation they can build on.
