Truthcat: Hundreds of BABY GIRLS dumped in the trash? The reason why it's not baby boys too is only evidence of a gender bias where the female is not seen as equally valuable, even as a baby. Both men and women (clearly) can have a gender biases. There is no way someone who sees themselves as permanently UNDER another human being should think of themselves as a ' leading lady'. It's fine that you are okay considering yourself as under a man, but please don't also aspire to be seen as leading at the same time, let that one go please. 4 Likes |

AlexSwain: It totally depends on the DEFINITION of feminism someone subscribes to. Feminism is supposed to be equality (equal opportunity and consideration) for ALL. That is BOTH men and women. Those that consider it to be putting one gender over the other are incorrect imho. Men over women (as a rule) does not work but neither will women over men (as a rule) imho. Let the person best for a position or decision be the one placed there or listened to regardless of gender. It just makes sense. Even with Buhari, I fully believe his wife would probably have done a much better job as president. The only way human beings can move forward is having everyone be able to play their own part and not be obstructed by ego, low self esteem or being purposely underprivileged. 2 Likes |

Olumaeme:thank u o,my brother.i dont know what feminists are still fighting for.everybody is equal today,a woman can vote, women can head organisations, women can become presidents.feminism is just extremities today except if all feminists would relocate to middle east countries, india, pakistan, thats where they are needed, not in africa, europe or americas or east asia |

yes! she can be under a man in the family, and be more than a leader in the society
one of the heroes of the aba women riot(cant remember her name),her husband was a doctor, she heard him complaining about the government of their time.he was the breadwinner, but she it was who mobilized with other women achieve their common objective.so yes!,i repeat,a woman can be under a man(in the family),and be more than a leader in the society.i actually think a woman can even be d boss in d family-she wud have to watch out for unambitious men or submissive men.otherwise any other kind of marital relationship wud nt last!,thats it |

We talk about feminism when people are slaughtered in kogi and some other parts of Nigeria, pathetic world of shame. does she need to go see for herself before she starts writing. funny bone stay out of this and do your part with your talent. |

] a woman's place in the society is different from her place in the family.she is equal to everyone in the society, but not in the family.yes! she can be under a man in the family, and be more than a leader in the society
Equality does not mean being the same though, but it sounds like that's what you think it is. If a man's wife is an account and the husband is a lawyer it makes sense for the wife to handle the finances and file the taxes, she should lead in that at work AND at home because it's her area of expertise. I would hope that men would see the logic in it rather than feeling threatened that their wife is leading in something at home. |

buchasman: Why aren't you writing about it or better yet speaking to your fellow men in Kogi state and any other state the men seem to like to butcher people? Nigerian males tend to lead the country the wrong way all the time. With leadership comes RESPONSIBILITY and too many seem not up to the task. 1 Like |

felaismyhero: Chances are the Aba woman also led at home to some extent. Even women culturally were made way for when the men could not fix an issue. They were trusted to lead and it did not make the men feel emasculated. Even in culture. 1 Like |

Until you are able to take the role of equality and actually walk it, and not just want to sound smart, you are not just under a man, you are even lower and beneath all of us. Where is your outrage on all the babies girl killed and dumped daily? The people speaking against infanticide are men and women who love all God's creatures. Why not talk about these instead of targeting homes to destroy. Feminist groups are responsible for most of the problems facing women today, just to keep their regular supplies of human parts and sole right over pregnancies and abort them at will. You are either ignorant or just plain silly to want to spread your bottomless urge to destroy homes. You have 7 ribs while they have 9 for a reason. And what happens next, teach your children the 17 different genders of humans according to your feminist handbook, and confused them further? You have a deep psychological problem you need to attend to and jumping on the feminist propaganda bandwagon isn't going to get you any relief. Go and educate yourself on the agendas of the founders of feminist/sexism and stop following your fellow weaker vessel like sheep. Again, the man is the head and I'm proud to be neck that supports it, the leading lady at that. londoner: |

Truthcat: At least talk sense when you are speaking to me. Even a neck that is full of emotion will turn the head the wrong way. I believe in equality for men and women, it's fine if you don't but you are doing both genders a disservice. Direct your tirade to a feminist group then, not to me my dear. 1 Like |

You are trying too hard just for this empty nonsense. Go over you comment and hear yourself as if you just have to type something even when it makes no sense to you. What equality are you talking about? We already have fair equality between male and female, you are just confused about what you want. Only you know what your emotion is but don't quote me and then point elsewhere if you don't want a piece of it, take your feminist garbage you know nothing about away from me. londoner: |
