I honestly thought I rated The Others.

9/10, for exploring a controversial theme in such a simple yet very creepy way. It's a movie that shows you don't need a big budget and gore to make a classic.

I'm not a fan of horror movies because even in my adult stage, they scare me silly. If I'd known The Others was a horror movie, I probably would've turn down the opportunity to watch it, but I'm glad I didn't.

I see all horror movies as movies made to strike fear into people's hearts garnished with grotesque killings, blood littered everywhere and ugly, scary creatures. The Others is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the horror movies genre. It's a horror movie meant to educate you rather than the usual primary purpose of scaring you. I've not watched a lot of horrors, but the few I've watched, The Others is without an iota of doubt the most creative and intelligent. The ending is just too revealing and shocking. Certainly saving it in my hard drive.

Go and watch Half of a yellow sun or Beast of no nation(all the kids in this movie performed ten times better than anything black panther cast(Jordan excluded) had to offer)
also watch City of God.

Then come back and tell me why in the bloody world Africans are suppose to praise that hogwash.

Finally watched black panther yesterday...Great movie I must say.Though I didn't feel the accent especially those boko haram niggas in sambisa forest;nothing Nigerian about their accent. For all those singing the 'overrated movie' anthem,go and produce your own movie and if it tops box office for 5 months,then I will listen to you.
