I guess those that were shortlisted were based on first come first serve process. applied towards d deadline and wasn't shortlisted....any1 here that applied around January and wasn't shortlisted

I just used Opera browser and I was able to update my details, initially tried with chrome & firefox but was getting the portal closed message

I applied almost immediately the portal opened and I uploaded ALL the required documents. I wish I know why I wasn't shortlisted

I know why my brother....bcoz u did not take letter from oga at the top to ptdf.

Quota system! If the quota from your own region is filled up, then kiss the whole thing good bye. You could write a professorial thesis that would make Einstein green with envy...it will all mean nada if the quota for your region is full!

For the France, Germany and China, the successful candidates for the scholarship will be notified at the end of the may/ early June. Goodluck!

You may not be far from the truth. That should cure some of us from the agony of self loathing.

Even right from application I don't believe in it.

I think this is not right to say the shortlisting was biased. We don't know how it was done but i applied for both but couldn't attend the interview for the DE/ FR/CH strategic partnership scholarship.
But i wish all selected applicants the best of luck. Hopefully we get to discuss what to expect test or interview!

Do we have guys who attended the ptdf 2018 germany/france/china scholarship interview and still got selected in UK application?
I guess candidates who got recommended for G/F/C scholarships might not be shortlisted for Uk to avoid other people chance.

some of my friends that we attended the interview for F/G/C have been invited for this one of UK. I guess they have improved their standard of selection for this one of UK

I have done mine. I first had to reset my password. went ,to my mail to retrieve the directory to effect the password change, then i gained access into my profile.

I got the mail, I have chosen my preferred location.

Now, I'm trying to login but it's saying I haven't been shortlisted. I thought getting the mail meant one has been shortlisted.

Clear your phone browser cache and see if it will still log you in

I was not shortlisted for the UK scholarship interview but I attended the F/G/C interview.

I am a PhD candidate. I was asked to introduce myself, then I was also asked to tell them about my proposed research. I was also asked to explain my methodology.
Then questions came up from what I answered like what is the research gap, is there any work done previously in this field, etc.
