Davidnaze the “Yoruba scholar” who u are quoting don’t they have name and show us their book now. Even with the fraud quote u plan on passing it still buttress my point that ekiti was never controlled by any Benin. Benin only engage them in war. They still maintained their own autonomy seeing as how ado fought war with not only Benin twice in 1500 and 1815 but also Ibadan Too during the kriji war like ur quote without source shows

It wasn't only Ekiti that was under Benin. Ondo, Osun, and all Eastern Yoruba states were under Great Benin Kingdom

lol my guy u just keep saying this over and over again with no proof. The best proof u could find after probably spending a lot of time looking was a quote without source by some “Yoruba scholars” that only buttress my own point that Benin never conquer any ekiti towm. It only shows Benin fought some ekiti town nothin more

@davidnaze but why do u keep deflecting answer to plain question is it coz u know u are a fraud coz if u are worried of looking stupid by answering the question I can assure u that u don’t have to worry coz u already look stupid.

Osun were never under Benin kingdom ekiti is the boundary ..even in Lagos Benin controlled the Yoruba speaking area of isale eko while Oyo controlled Badagry Egun speaking people without war between the two brothers...Edo and Yoruba people see themselves as brothers and sisters in the past but now they are filled with venom towards Yoruba ...The attacked of benin and ore by the igbos during the civil war dragged the Yoruba into the civil war

If it’s true you are actually descendant of Oduduwa/Izoduwa/Ekhaladeran then I can authoritatively tell you that you are an Edo man. An Edo man that is lost and roaming in Yorubalands. You should come to Benin let’s take you through the spiritual and cleansing rites.

On the other hand what is this your craze about Oviedo and Omo Edo for?
In Edo language we have different words for baby, child, kid, children.. maybe yorubas use just one word for all of them.

Omo is Edo word and it means child.
Oviedo means Edo person.
Ibieka means children
Ovokhan means young child/kid
Omomo means baby

Oviedo is a phrase not a word. If u remove the Edo, Oviee is still a phrase not a word. It means his child, or her child or someone’s child.

The Edo language is unique that’s why it’s difficult to learn easily unlike Yoruba that is a collection of borrowed words..

I’m educating you on these because you said you are an Edo man. A lost one.
Just imaging the incoherent you wrote again? Do you not know, in standard English, you can't infer in this manner when refering to tribe's citizen, as, “Edo person"?What's “Edo person"? But Edo descendant/Edo citizen. Oviedo strictly mean a descendant of Edo .And Oviedo doesn't necessarily mean “a child of Edo" in a literary form you try to inform us about it but man/woman of Edo ancestry grin. Laugh wan kill me here......This same goes for the term, “Omo Yoruba" as Yoruba descendant and also used to refer to a child. Yoruba owns the word “omo"(child) . For example; omo pupa( light skin child),omodè(young child) omo ikòkò(baby), omomí( my child) etc. And this just showed you borrowed the word from Yoruba land. So also Itsé that Edo borrowed ,which is pronounce as asé. In fact, Edos do not know the efficacy of âsé with its deep spiritual undertone.Yes, I know Edos have many confusioning words, which is the reason, the language is going to extinction. Enjoy the bitter truth.

Nobody can watch this video and still ignorantly believe the yoruba can compare with Edo.
I actually felt pity for the ooni and his entourage.

So Yoruba don’t have a single word to describe all those you just mentioned. Rather u mix two words together to describe it. It goes to show u borrowed the word Omo from Edo.
It is easy to understand how you got those words.. Benin kingdom once ruled over the Yorubas that’s how u got the words.

Early colonial photos of the ooni of ife do not show him wearing any beeds at all. Even the hat he now wears is an imitation of the dug out sculptures which supposedly represent "oduduwa".

Even everyone can see its recently adopted by him some me a pics of 17c or early 18c at most and i will show u benin of the 14c wearing rounded beed i dont know the state ijesha is but i believe if i trace the monarchy linage it would those vasile state under the benin b4 d advent of d British if it fall under this five state forget it ...it was from benin eko, ekiti, osun, ogun, ondo those state was under the Benin's

That's ife head my friend and the horse man stature depict the man that brought bronze work to Benin the first time they will ever see horse ...the difference between ife art and benin is realism ..ife are more advance in craft than benin
Re: Oba Of Benin Visits Ooni Of Ife by Nobody: 12:54pm On May 10, 2018
Actually, the statue of the man on a horse is from the palace of Omo n'Oba n'Edo.
There is nothing which proves or even indicates that he was coming from ife or that he was coming to teach bronze casting to whomever.
It is most likely the depiction of a King.
The fact which you seem to not be able to notice is that there was just one dug out "ife head" surrounded by lots of Artworks from Oba palace.
And even your yoruba cameraman was forced to film the Edo artwork.
There is no wonder you guys are trying to claim Edo artwork through the back door.

If this country divides, Edo will reclaim Ekiti and ondo states. About half indigenes of those states are Edo.

why you people like lying have you seen the horseman statue life before it has mark on it cheeks it has ife tribal mark three stroke mark from the side of the mouth up moreover the art is good but is not realism like ife ..
So now ife has a signature mark which automatically indicates one as being from ife, and I am to believe that that was even the case 500 years ago when the statue was made. And I am also to believe that somehow the statue repesents a guy coming to teach bronze casting ?

Why did I expect such a response ?
Ofcourse, you have to say this, your story keeps developping according to necessity to make it not seem totally fabricated.
What exactly in that statue indicates that the person is going to teach bronze casting ? What exactly places him as a person from ife ?
Please would you care to show me the bronze which was stolen from yoruba palaces by the british ?

Stop claiming what doesn't belong to you. That art is Edo and the person it depicts is most likely Edo.

Let us see what you guys actually produced.
It is easy to just sit down somewhere like a lazy bum and then just go on claiming the work of others.
