How do I apply as an Uber driver. I have a valid driver's license and over 17yrs driving experience

Please where do you reside, and do you have a tangible guarantor?

Wickedness everywhere, Nigeria is just full of scam.

Riders that uses card trip, can remove the card after you ve ended the trip, they will immediately remove card and use cash, while Taxify will calculate as cash trip instead of card, now driver thinks it’s a card trip, if his not conscious of his card trip won’t know what had happened.

Drivers please stop screenshot scam.

I weep for this country, we must find ways to kill everything that come our way angry angry sad angry

Drivers/Partners don't let 'mechanics finish you. Get a personal car scanner to diagnose your car...

09032614208, 08060675824.

Starting from as low as 4K (bluetooth Version).. Handheld Version: from 8K.

Why exactly do you need a car diagnostics scanner!!!

Quick One
1. If ever buying a Tokunbo (Foreign Used) or Nigerian Used Car, don't just go with a mechanic, scan the car to know likely issues/problems
2. If you own a car, Check Engine Light can be triggered at any time. ITS TIME TO GET YOUR CAR SCANNED.
3. From experience, after local mechanics work on certain parts of your car, Check Engine Light is triggered. Scan it to know hwta they may gotten wrong or not done properly!

Google saved me thousands of naira from mechanic.
Was hearing some noise while turning my steering, I went to the mechanic the guy shouted that is this and that, gave me estimate of over 50k to get it going, I said okay and told him I will get back to him, I went home and googled the issue, I found out it’s a minor thing that I can fix my self, I went and bought this tiny rubber for just 200 naira then I saw YouTube video on how to do it my self, now I have done it and no more noise, I spent less than 500 naira on 50k price mechanic gave me, the worst part is that the mechanic doesn’t even know what the rubber is and it’s function.

If you drive on the Uber and Taxify platforms, I can rightly assume you already have a valid driver's licence. And so, to renew your driver's licence shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg or having any contact in the FRSC office. It's lack of information and the belief that money has to change hands in order to get things done in the country. Not necessarily!

To renew your DL, simply log onto the website below and click on the DL Application link and then renewal of driver's licence. Make sure you click on "no" to bypass the biometric capturing. They already have your data on their database and so what's the point doing that all over again especially if your information has not changed.

Pay the requisite fees of 6k+ and 10k+ online for both the 3 and 5 years validity types respectively. Once you're done, note down your application ID and then print out the acknowledgement copy and this is what you take to the FRSC office of your choice which you must have selected while completing the form earlier. Also, go there with the original copy of the DL and 2 passport photos.

You don't have to pay anyone some outrageous amount for something you can personally do on your own. I hope this helps someone out there.

lymelyte:
I went there this morning and they told me I can only get temp DL same say if I was applying for a renewal and not fresh DL. They said it is going to take a month to process fresh application before the capturing and issuing out the temp DL.. I just weak..

@ifyeez

There's a service bulletin on this issue, see below:

https://www.arcparts.com/wp-content/uploads/images/Technical_Information/Honda_07-086.pdf

I had the same issue around 2011; very worrisome but once I found the SB it was an easy fix. The O-ring cost me next to nothing, I had to pay for labour though. I was scared of doing it myself and messing up something else.

Bros I didn't ask you to deliver to me, I said I will meet up with you wherever you are and get the oil. You'd rather not sell the oil if it means you won't get the 3k for delivery I'm not asking you to make. Smh

No offence bro. But note this, I am the DELIVERY guy, I deliver to you that's how it works...
If you don't want it delivered to you then we don't have business... I am sure you understand.... thanks
