The europeans had more praise for ife sculptures than any other work from african kingdoms. It was classical and realistic. Ife art seem to be more dated than all the others in the south, apart from igbo-ukwu

first u said Yoruba don’t wear bead I showed u the bead now u say it’s not rounded do u have eyes at all. Yoruba traded through all the Sahel we didn’t need no Portuguese. Benin was the one who need Portuguese and look very well there is a lot of bead on her neck some rounded and some not.

@gregyboy do u see the oduduwa statue show two bead too one long one short and the short one case could be made it’s not round too but the carver made it look that. The same pattern of the bead one small and one short is also the same in the owa-obokun ijesha I posted too that davidnaze is shouting is a recent adoption

Ife is famous for its Glass and Coral Beads which were the center of commerce is Ife even before Oduduwa.

there is no Benin ada any ada found in Yoruba hand is Yoruba. Moremi was alive in the 12 century and there is a bead around her neck. As far as am concerned there is no bead made by Benin u bought it from Portuguese but Yoruba also made bead and bought it too. Yoruba has been making bead no be today unlike u only got it when u met the Portuguese.

Actually, Edo artwork was not dug out, it was stolen from Oba palace by the british.

When early writers of Bini talk about the kingdom controlling its neighbours they talk about its neighbours to the East. The Urhobo, Esan, Isoko, Western Ibos and so on.

So if Ekaladeran escaped, he did so heading East. Ekaladheran is Edo, not Bini. Therefore his settlement and descendants will exist as a proto Edo society, with zero Yoruba nature or customs.

The quicker you find ekaladheran the easier for you to see, and be able to deal with the knowledge that you were scammed by your people.
