So the fact that a non-pharmacist was employed as a project manager in a pharmaceutical company, is still paining you? Ok, try and get well soon!
No need to continue this argument with you.

So even if truly a pharmaceutical company employed a so called project manager in a company, would that "project manager" earn more than the pharmacist who employed him in his companyhuh Maybe you didn't know that was where this argument started from. And i still maintain that it doesn't make any financial sense employing a different person to manage my projects even when I have my quality assurance manager, plant manager, engineering manager who can just undergo some necessary trainings to handle any project in my company.

No need going back and forth with you. Just know that I will not employ any "project manager" in my company. I can only consult you if and only if the need arises.

Thank you!

The guy who started the conversation with you made his points clear, when he said some consultants even end up earning more than pharmacists, because of their expertise. sad But you refused to understand his viewpoint, because you were hell bent on making it seem like pharmacists were the all-knowing superior species that could carry out all the jobs in a pharmaceutical company.

If you don't employ any project manager in your own business, that is your call. sad It does not mean other bigger and better pharmaceutical companies, would not employ project managers who are non-pharmacists, to work for them. It is a free world. Now kindly remove your good self from my mentions, by refraining from quoting me again. Thanks. undecided

Good morning.
My name is Adeshina Waliyu, a 100 level student(lautech ogbomosho). There is a matter I have been worrying about, due to fear, I have fall in love with my phone searching for info about the issue. And nairaland is one of the site that I always tend to, to know about what I don't know because I believe there are many talented people and experienced people that can put me through.

I have read many topics on this nairaland that relate to the issue that's bothering me yet I still feel like I haven't see what I need. May be it's because most of the topic I read were posted like 4 to 5 years ago, sorry to say I feel like Nigeria then is different from today's Nigeria.

The issue that is bothering me, that makes me need the counsel or advice of people is about the course I was given.
I's a pre degree student 2015/2016, I chose Civil Engineering but unfortunately I scored 255 in Pre degree and 245 in jamb, so I was given Pure and Applied Physics.
Though at that time I was discouraged but later I got over it (Since physics is my best subject). Then I decided to study physics but getting to 100 level, what am hearing from people around me and my brothers is that I should change my course.. What they are telling me is that physics is among the best course in the world
but not here in Nigeria. They said it's better to cross to Engineering.
Though am just a 19 year old boy but I think it's better to start thinking about my future......
So I have been in a dilemma since because my decision will have Great impact to my future.
I can't make a rash decision. That's why I decided to hear from people that will tell me what I don't know.
Please is it true that the hope for science student especially physics graduates in time of job in this Nigeria is not much . I know life is unpredictable and we should follow our instinct. But it is better to know more.
I will be very grateful if you can spare some of your time to give your opinion..
Continue with your first degree, when you're done enroll for an MSc programme closely related to your interest at the time
