EFCC is very jobless now as they're looking for a way to stay relevant... what happens to these politicians that stole billions of Naira? what happens to these men of God that stole billions of Naira to buy private jets and mantions?....I don't support fraud but these young guys can't steal and no job in the country? is charging them to court gonna help them? ..Our government should find a way to empower the youths by creating more jobs and youths having more access to government house too..

The youths have to understand that we have moved on from the era of graduating and waiting for a job. This is not to say that jobs shouldn't be created by the public sector. However, government's responsibility lies more on creating the enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

There have not been more opportunities than we have now. It's massive! That certainly does not include criminal activities of any form.

If a Ph.d holder, as you said, thinks N50k is nothing for him, he / she should take that bold step to create that job of his / her choice.

Millions of jobs have been and are being created in the Agri and Services sectors, from slashing rice import by about 40,000MT yearly and the emergence of more than 15 large-scale rice mills in three years to the resuscitation fertilizer blending plants.

All people need to do is, align with any these initiatives and create wealth for themselves and the society at large.

All of you posting rubbish here against the EFCC are idiots!!!
When those of us that earn clean money visit these clubs and see these criminals and fradstars splashing Money, the only thing on our minds is how lawless Nigeria has become for criminals to be displaying ill gotten wealth. Now that somebody (EFCC) is doing something about it, you idiots are still complaining! When Saraki and his fellow goons in the Senate were exposed in the Panama leaks, everyone was talking about how a thief was able to become Senate President of Nigeria and how lawless Nigeria is. When someone decided to do something about it (EFCC), the same idiots turned around to call it withhunt and political persecution!

I don't support fraud in any way possible, but this gorrillla method of ridding the country of corruption is as dirty as the motive for the exercise, by doing this, a legitimate business just lost customers it has taken years to build. When will the engine block of this administration receive sense? If everyone who knows no lack is a fraudster, then it's expected that everyone should be in penury, then what doctrine are we preaching? The normalization of mediocrity, penury, wretchedness at the expense of what? If i feel fine, the government thinks i need a panacea because i'm expected to be weeping. These fellas have lost their minds.

Quote me and die. I got queried by SARS not long ago cause i looked clean, when they couldn't contest against my I.Q., they felt intimidated and pretended to be cordial asking me to leave without even presenting an I.D.

Government focus on creating jobs and perhaps people will not learn the path of corruption.

So I have to be into agriculture business before nobody would question my source of wealth?

The problem I have with this is the blanket and primitive generalisation. That doesn't happen anywhere in the civilised world. There's no such thing as suspected crime merely because of lifestyle. You have to get evidence of crime and prosecute accordingly.

I stay in my apartment, hotel room, bar, field, beach or anywhere I like, with only my laptop and an Internet connection, and I earn far more than what many so called empty working graduates earn monthly. My goal is to earn $100,000 monthly - in excess of N30m every fucking month. Thousands of people earn that much on the Internet, a few even here in Nigeria, legally. And I will do this without having any 'visible' means of income. Times have changed, and paradigms are changing. Amazon is now the biggest company in the world, and it is an 'invisible' business simply because it is an Internet business. Not everyone would do the old fashioned grind in the name of having a so-called visible means of income.

While it is true that most of these guys are likely fraudsters, that isn't my business. The government must find a more lawful and sensible way to catch them red handed while committing crimes or get evidence of crimes already committed and punish them accordingly. You can't arrest a young man because he is driving a flashy car or drinking champagne and then ask him to explain his source of wealth. That could be me, and my source of wealth is entirely legitimate but not 'visible'. And it is unfair and unacceptable to arrest me and ask me to explain my source of wealth because it is invisible (unlike agriculture or whatever). I will not. Kill me if you want, but I wouldn't explain jack, because I suffered to learn those secrets. I can't let out my hard earned wealth building information to primitive fools fools in the name of clearing my name from unfair accusations. Instead, you'd have to tell me my crime exactly, prove it, and prosecute me in court. Even if the useless judge is as primitive as the law enforcement agents, then let them all kill me. Very useless country.

We have to stop supporting barbaric ways of doing things. The world is changing.

So shocked and surprised @ d way Nigerian youths are supporting crime. What has gone wrong with our morals and up bringing in d African home? Efcc wouldn't go there if there wasn't an information to go pick up a criminal there. This action is carried out in almost all countries in the world so why will Nigeria own be different. If white people arrest people on their wedding day then what is club that some irresponsible fellas here keep hyping as if it's heaven!

It is enough to conduct checks on the road that leads to and fro the club, not go to the club. Please get lost, i earn 7 digits legitimately and have enough to look clean and live however i chose, take your poverty-blame and impose it on your father that failed to raise a successful son, and don't hinge your lack of success on other people however they chose to live their lives. My brother, sorry I don't have the time for long epistles.

Civilized or not civilized world, one's lifestyle could be a pointer to indulgence in something illegal. And if it turns out the person in question isn't doing anything illegal, he gets freed upon arrest and questioning. What's the big deal?

I have had reasons to be detained and questioned more than once, even outside the shores of Nigeria. Let me disagree with you that there is such thing as invisible source of income.

The current method being deployed to track cyber criminals cannot be said to be barbaric, otherwise you may have to proffer one which could be more efficient. I think that it shouldn't just end at criticism.

You are at liberty to understand my position however you deem fit but the fact remains that the security services have got work to do, and I do not think that they have contravened Nigerian laws doing this thus far. I never mentioned that everyone should be in Agriculture, I also mentioned the ever-widening Services sector as well.

Take it or leave it, government's responsibility is currently shifting from job creation to creating the right environment for businesses to thrive. People have to see and latch onto this in a way that helps them create wealth for the society.

You're at liberty to hold whatever point of view you like. But if the security agencies have not started this barbaric and stupid onslaught by facing civil servants, government officials l, and salary earners who obviously live being their lawful and visible income, then you don't have any point.

We see them everywhere. Someone claims to be a civil servant (retired or serving) or a bank or private company worker earning a certain amount, but he owns houses, drives good cars, and his children school abroad. How? Those are the people we should focus on, because there is already a clear disconnect between known income and lifestyle. That's why Nigeria is such a useless and primitive country filled with hypocrisy.

You can't start with people whose income is not known and therefore their lifestyle can't be measured or judged.

What ever rocks your boat, my opinion is fixed, and so is yours.

Have a good evening.

All these things you saying here is turechi. No objectivity &,reality in it at all. I agreed with you that opportunities are being created in Agricultural sector which is presently at the inception or incubation stage. Except you are benefitting from government as S.A or P.A or strategically position in the civil service, you cannot post this illogical reasoning here. China, South Korea & other modern economies did not just come out of recession & depression at industrial incubation stage of a sector of their economy. We are still in recession despite FOS (NBS)report of our coming out of recession at 3rd quarter of 2017. Aliko Dangote, Otedola, Atiku, FMN group, Chanrai group, Stallion group, Churchgate, Honeywell & other conglomerates can attest to this. Moreover, there is a gap between economic recession & economic depression. Most industrial estates are still in sleeping mode. A PHD holder receiving 50K for survival has no option.

EFCC going to club in Lagos is barbaric & highly uncivilized except there is a suspect they track to the club. Police can raid a club if there is a criminal activity going on there as it happens abroad.

There are people who work hard & play hard. You can't tell somebody how to spend his money except you want to enforce Sharia in Lagos. Next time, they will now visit the dome club, Abuja. Those politicians that keep mistresses in hotels & those with permanent suites in hotels are also criminals.

What they have done is to kill night club business in Lagos thereby systematically returning us to Abacha era when Gen Musa Bamaiyi destroyed Lagos with his money laundering fight incarcerating people lawlessly & insulted Justice Belgore (rtd).

Mind you, there is still high level corruption in civil service. Job loss at an alarming rate & some States are still owing salaries, yet graduate are coming out of NYSC. We have very high level of formal & informal prostitutions among ladies & married women for survival while men take to crime and drug abuse.
