The cards belong to two different individuals who are evidently twins; it is Muslim tradition for females to still retain their father's name even after marriage, most no longer bear the husband's name because it is a borrowed western tradition alien to Islam - hope this explains why they still share a common surname.

If these guys said it was photoshopped it would have been a much better defence. But twins? someone is definitely not thinking right. The card states that the person involved is a house wife, so if its a case of twins, they must be married to the same man.
Thats very unlikely if not impossible.

For those who see evil and defend it due to sentiments, let them remember that everyman must give account of his life to God on the last day.

But you can't project your own culture and limited understanding over others. You have not bothered to find out the practice of marriage in Fulani culture to see where it differs from yours but you intend to see fraud.
There is no conclusive evidence the pictures represents the same or person as one appears to have a longer chin line, that is not denying the striking semblance of both images.

But pretending this is a northern thing is beside the point as we were witnesses to the presence of pictures of Mike Tyson, Cecilia Ibru, etc on voters card of ondo state when Mimiko was fighting to retrieve his mandate.

If we see this issue as a Nigerian problem rather than tribal issue, more sensible discussion would have taken place here
