Nigeria, which recently emerged from its worst economic recession in over 25 years with less than $21 billion in foreign reserves, has built up its reserves massively over one and half years to become largest in Africa by beating South Africa, Ghana, and Kenya in external reserves with total net reserves of $47,804,549,761.

Very miopic analysis! So if you borrow N50m from Gtbank and deposit it in Zenith Bank you have now become richer than your neighbour who has N5m in Zenith Bank without debt!

Go and check how much Buhari regime have borrowed and our current indebtedness. When you do, net it off the "reserve", then come and post your result and compare with rest of Africa.

Other oil nations shored up their reserves to take care of imports without devaluating their currency (if possible) till oil prices stabilize.
