To be honest, somehow I do not blame these police men. Sometimes I feel sorry for them. Just tell me why a police man would not be corrupt when he is 1, not paid on time, 2. Paid Peanuts, 3. No Single welfare for him, his family and children. Why exactly would they not take money. They are just bein humans trying to survive. They have also been failed just like every other person in Nigeria. He is standing in the scorching sun, risking his life, not knowing where his next meal would come from and you ask him not to collect anyhting? dont blame him blame the current system. It has failed for the past 50years but somehow we hope that something is going to change but we want to retain the system that made it fail in the first place. Bunch of hypocrites!
